Fantastic place. Between myself and my three guests we had a pizza and 3 different entrees. Every dish was excellent in both quality and flavor. The pizza was incredible, some of the most flavorful pizza I've had in Chicago. Will definitely go back.

This place is awesome. There are so many varieties of pizza and other Italian dishes and the wine is magical. They also have some interesting creations with their antipasto. Bruno is pretty cool too. If you ever stop in, look for the tall Italian guy and say hi, you can tell he loves to keep his diners and staff happy!

Lovely neighborhood joint with tons of character and beautiful food. Pizza, pasta, burrata. All authentic and delicious. Service is average. Prices are high for a neighborhood joint, but the food is good. Tables out on the boulevard in summer. Great place to take in a slow, beautiful Italian meal.

Our waitress was really sweet and very considerate. She realized I was not too crazy about the martini I had ordered the first time so she offered several times if I would like for her to make me a different kind, so she did. We order the Milanese Pizza with prosciutto and it was so good! My first time trying prosciutto and I loved it. I had the Tortelli al tartufo pasta...the first bite of it was AMAZING! The vibe in the restaurant is great. Very nice employees. We felt really welcomed! I will definitely come here again in the near future!

Great authentic Italian food in Wicker Park! I've been coming here for years and will continue to come back. They have an excellent wine selection and both service and food exceed expectations. The pizza and pastas have never disappointed

If you are someone who truly appreciates authentic high quality Italian food, you cannot miss Tocco in wicker park. Bruno the owner is meticulous about the quality of the food and experience. He previously owned Folia which itself was an A+ experience. We has the best calimari last night at Tocco that we’ve ever had in Chicago. Along with their pizza oven thin crust authentic Italian pizza. And the whole fish we tried for Good Friday was incredibly fresh. Our kids had the fresh pasta. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of high quality vegetarian options. All pasta they make fresh. The atmosphere might look pricey, but the prices are extremely reasonable and we were able to include a bottle of fantastic rosso without busting the budget. This Italian spot is a gem not to be missed, and you can experience it on any budget!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Chicago. You'll be greeted by the owner, and your pasta or pizza or whatever you order will be delicious. I'm the summer, the garage doors open to a small plaza and the ambiance is perfection.

We came in late after a play on a frigid evening. Nevertheless we were warmly welcomed. We both had the BEST lentil soup we have ever tasted! We shared a Quattro Formaggi pizza which arrived with dried red peppers to sprinkle on. The peppers were wonderfully and unexpectedly piquante. You know the ones you usually get with pizza are virtually tasteless. These are the best! Btw, the pizza was excellent also. We ordered a bottle of wine as Tocco does not have wine by the glass on the menu. I think they should change that. We ended with gelato - the hazelnut one is tasty and we had to lower our body temperatures enough to face the Polar Vortex that persists in Chicago. The owner and our waitperson are both very gracious and knowledgeable. We plan to return soon to try other items on the menu. Thanks for a meal as good as we could order in Italy!

recommendation of a staff member at Wormhole. The service was spectacular from the moment I walked in the door. Bartender ended up being my waitress, as I decided to get a meal to go. I ordered the lasagna bolognese and grabbed a beer for my wait. Roughly twenty minutes later, the bartender informed me, quite apologetically, that the kitchen *just* told her they were out of lasagna. A manager came over to offer additional apologies, and the establishment offered to buy my dinner of choice. After a slight protest stemming from the guilt of being a first time visitor, a replacement meal was suggested to me; spaghetti alla carbonara. I was told that if I was unhappy with my stand-in choice, my next meal would be on the house. My second bout of unwillingness to accept the offer was met with a replacement gratuity beer. The food was remarkable. I can easily say that it's the best Italian food I've had in Chicago thus far, especially for the price range. The meat sauce had been simmered for hours before serving, and the addition of an egg in my sauce was a barely noticeable, but an appreciated and tasty touch. I'll be back, and there will be zero complaints or regrets about my ingested meal. I left Tocco with a great feeling of appreciation towards me as a customer; they can rest assured that I'll be back. Though I never expect my subsequent visits to reach such a level of service, first impressions like that certainly last a very long time with me.
