If you're a Parks and Recs fan...THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. A Ron Swanson themed restaurant is just what the world and every person needs. My friends and I all chose different dishes and weren't disappointed at the slightest by any of them. Highly recommend you all do the same when it comes to a party of 3 or more. Just share a few bites off each other's plates. Will definitely come back here one day.

This places is BYOB so we took 3 bottles and bought some freshly squeezed orange juice which was amazing. Menu sounded a bit weird at first, but everything was delicious. Huge plates, full of flavour. Place is tiny, so either book in advance or be prepared to wait. We were 4 ladies, and went to another place for mimosas while we waited for our table (about an hour on a Sunday at 1230). No matter the wait, it is definitely worth a try. Would love to go again next time I'm in Chicago!

This place has been on my list for a long time. Stopped by here for lunch and had to wait almost an hour. If you plan on coming here expect a wait at all times. We ordered the double cheeseburger, roasted marrow bone with beef cheek marmalade and a side of toast. Everything on the burger was delicious from the bun, meat to the egg. The meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The bone marrow was amazing and one of the best dishes I've ever had. Very rich in flavor and the combination of the marmalade and buttery toast was heavenly. Overall, this place puts extreme detail into everything that they do. Flavors and textures here are on point. If you are visiting Chicago this is a must wait and dine in restaurant. Seating is very limited and not meant for large groups.

I love Whisk. I live close by so I come often. It's cash only which is tad annoying, but not major. 1 star off because they only have pork gravy and no other substitute. Wish they had a mushroom or chicken sausage gravy. If they end up adding that I will def. Change to 5. Decor is amazing because it's homage to Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec. Service is awesome.

Very good experience and the food was absolutely delicious. The southern chicken sandwich is definitely not to be passed over. Will definitely be visiting again especially one Taco Tuesday and Wing Wednesday. Highly highly recommended

This place is fantastic. Great breakfast, great service. Prices are pretty decent and had a great experience at the community table. The breakfast food is a creative. I have the crab cakes, which where great, but my wife's pancakes were fantastic. I will definitely go again. I absolutely love the decor. Go to feel your inner Ron Swanson.

If you're a fan of the show parks and recreation or breakfast food any time of day, this place is for you. It's a small but busy diner with plenty of pictures of Ron Swanson on the wall. The servers are very polite and helpful. The food quality and portion is definitely worth the price. No reservations so I'd recommend calling ahead to see wait times. Also BYOB.

Went for brunch with family and sat at the community table, which wasn't bad. It's BYOB so we brought our own champagne, and purchased their fresh squeezed OJ, since you can't bring your own beverage. I had the fried chicken and biscuits with sausage gravy and homemade potatoes and it was so good! My sister had almond french toast that was delicious too! It's a small setting with not much seating. There is outdoor seating in the back patio. The staff was friendly and it was fast service. The decor was original and different, lots of pictures of the comedian Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec. I'll be going again to try other menu items for sure.
