I was staying in a small hotel a few blocks away on Broadway, when I went out in search of take-out food and happened upon this wonderful hole-in-the-wall place. The food is made to order so if you don’t call ahead you have to wait a few minutes—but it is absolutely delicious. We had beef and chicken empanadas, and guacamole and chips. Each thing (including the chips) was prepared on the spot. So good, highly recommended. I will be going back on my next trip.

I typically come here to enjoy some delicious coxinha, empanadas and a Guarana drink outside during my numerous walks with my dog.
I highly recommend the blue moon smoothie and it's an incredibly good price compared to other smoothie places close by.
The empanadas are crispy and come in a wide variety of flavors. One of these days I will need to come here for an actual lunch or dinner 🍽 but so far everything I've tried is tasty and the staff is always so friendly.
There is a cute little section where you can purchase boxes of Brazilian brand chocolates and cookies 🍪 to take home with you. It's like a mini Brazilian grocery store with Brazilian staples--even pre-made farofa.
Perfect place to relax outside and enjoy some great people watching.

I tried the steak mango salad and the rice pudding. I think I will try something else next time because they had a wide variety of good food. It wasn't bad but nothing to brag about. (the rice pudding I will pass next time, had better)

Family owned and ran restaurant, with quick and very polite service. They had mouth watering entrees, flavorful desserts and sensation smoothies. and yes, I got all three because it was that good! They also have a small “store” section where you can pick out Brazilians snacks and treats as well as some quick to make foods like Brazilian ramen. Best part: they are open 7days a week with long hours !! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed !

THE STEAK IS SO GOOD!
i got the steak bowl with the mango sauce and it was AMAZING whenever i’m in the area next i will definitely be going here. the steak was so tender and so flavorful. The staff was also extremely helpful and kind.

Such a great lunch option in Lakeview East! I've been here multiple times and the food is always fresh and tasty. I recommend the steak encebolado and the coxinha, but the regular chicken bowl is also delicious. Reminds me of the food I had in Brazil.
Though they only have a few tables, they prepare everything so quickly that it's a great takeout option.

I tried this place for the first time and got Feijoada with Berry Lava smoothie take out.
The food was okay, the smoothie was sublime.
Will probably come back to try some different things.
In terms of atmosphere, this place doesn't have the best vibe/views and with the addition of the smoothie making noise I think it's better take-out than dine-in.
Prices are fair.
