Sushi-san - Chicago - Photo album

Sushi-San was recommended to us by our concierge and I have to say it's probably one of the best recommendations we've received in quite some time. When you arrive and see the decor from outside to inside, you know that it's going to be a great evening and the food will be on point. The atmosphere w
Sushi-san is a relaxed, casual restaurant that delivers very good appetizers and basically good sushi. I really enjoyed the Hamachi Crudo and Umami Scallop…very delicious. The flank steak with spicy mustard was prepared perfectly and paired well with the Japanese eggplant tempura. A sweet finish was

Overall I would not return, but I really liked the atmosphere and feel in this restaurant. Presentation of the food also 5/5. The shrimp tempura for the appetizer was great. I got a spicy salmon roll as well as a spicy tako (octopus) roll and they were only average. All of this I paired with their h
Really cool spot, great friendly service, not too overbearing but knowledgeable and kind. We ordered the lunch specials and their rendition of a bibimbap, which was my fav. Their raw fish was super fresh, just as fresh as some spots I've had on the west coast. We got some rolls to go and they were g
