I rarely write reviews but this warrants a review. We had the most amazing time at Artango. I work in the restaurant industry and my husband and I are big foodies. I think this is the best meat I’ve had in Chicago in a while… we shared the steak flight and it was amazing. When we were sat, our server was holding a baby for a couple who were out to eat so they could eat while the food was warm. The live music was nice and overall it was a fun-no-fuss-delicious night out. Highly recommend!
Good food, love it here always. However, staff should be trained to use gender-neutral terms (not sir and ma’am) especially if marketing as LGBTQ friendly.
This is a trendy Argentinian Steakhouse with urban artsy decor that fits well in a converted industrial type setting. It has the feel of Buenos Aires and the music was tango and jazz. We had a super nice server named Nenad who recommended the Ceviche Trio which was excellent. We then had the Asado de Domingo for 3 people which was a large beef rib, New York Strip and a Tenderloin. The meet was cooked to perfection and the food was delicious. It came with 3 different steak sauces, a large bowl of fresh mashed potatoes, and a large salad. The food came out promptly and was cooked perfectly. We were very pleased with the huge portions.
Took my best friend for his birthday and it was fantastic. The place is beautifully designed and the food was phenomenal! The drinks were very good as well! Don't miss this spot...great for groups and date nights too!
Artango Steakhouse was a lovely spot for a treat ourselves dinner and date night. The food, especially the popular steak flight, is fantastic. I asked for the waiter’s recommended wine pairing and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was a bit empty as we had an early dinner reservation but it filled up before we left. Great service, great food, and great wine! Worth a stop!
Amazing place and atmosphere. From the appetizer to the main course and desert everything was amazing. Thank you for making my husband birthday dinner such a wonderful memory. The live music and the gentleman who served us( so sorry for not recalling his name) just completed an amazing experience.
The valentines theme was a very nice touch. We got the experience meal for two. The empanadas are not very big but they are packed full of flavor! The caprese was amazing.
The steak was very delicious and the sauce was amazing. It was paired nicely by these very bold potatoes that made your mouth water.
Finally followed up with flan for dessert was a really nice finisher. Would be down to come again.
Artango Bar & Steakhouse is an amazing Argentinian restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, with great music playing in the background. They serve exceptional steaks and a variety of authentic Argentinian dishes. We started with a delicious assortment of empanadas and Provoleta, a grilled provolone cheese served with a tasty baguette. The LANGOSTINOS A LA PARRILLA (grilled langoustines) and PULPO A LA PLANCHA (grilled octopus) were fantastic seafood appetizers. The octopus was tender and flavorful, while the grilled prawns paired perfectly with crispy leeks. We also couldn't resist ordering the ASADO ARGENTINO for 2 PEOPLE, a generous dish featuring various mouthwatering meats.
Have been to this restaurant a few times but this last visit was the best for me. Everything was excellent from the service, the food and drinks to the live music, which was so brilliant. I highly recommend Artango.
