This place was simply amazing, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Hands down the best atmosphere and best staff that I’ve seen in a while. Love the manager Niko ❤️❤️❤️
I simply luv this place. My entire experience from valet parking, appetizer, drinks and entre’, waitstaff & ladies room was awesome. I definitely recommend The Hampton for your extraordinary dining experience.❤️
Hampton Social was a tasty dinner and welcome escape from the cold outside.
I ordered the chicken pesto bowl, which was flavorful and satisfying. The chicken was juicy and moist. My friend ordered the salmon, which was over cooked and dry unfortunately. My other friend ordered the green goddess bowl with salmon. She said that the salmon was cooked well, but the salad was a bit overdressed. Her salad had cubes of dry, hard pork belly in it which was a huge oversight on the kitchen’s part and detracted from the dish.
All in all, there were several gluten free options and I had a nice meal. I would recommend the chicken pesto bowl!
The food, service, drinks is top notch. Victor was fantastic. I had an amazing lunch with my sister (I am in from out of town but IL is forever my home). Thank you for a wonderful and special experience. Highly recommend. 11/10!
In general, this restaurant is remarkable. But to be precise, some waiters aren't the best and the music is at times too loud. Loud to the point that the waiter "could not hear" our order right. It's also a bit warm in the restaurant, so don't bring a full winter coat.
Other than the cons, the tunes are nice, there's a coat rack, the food is delicious, and they make extravagant mock tails! I would recommend this place for a date, as the lighting during night is intimate and the decorations are nice.
One main problem was the food being messed up, our waiter heard us wrong and gave us dairy in one of the meals, then charged us more for the asparagus which was supposed to come free with the meal.
The place is nice, the truffle fries and calamari are delicious. The bathrooms are tiny. And that's it!
Really love this place we went last summer, and the service was awesome. They took us in with being 30 minutes closing time. The restaurant was almost full but the food was amazing, and service was good. Definitely would go back again!
We were super tired from flying/traveling. We just checked into our hotel and were hungry. My boyfriend found this place for us to try, walking distance from our hotel. Food was amazing! - we had the salmon poke, crab cakes, and garden goddess salad. The live music was awesome and I really enjoyed all his cover songs.
We enjoyed a lovely brunch here. Upon landing, we felt like we were in Hawaii! The nautical beach theme & coastal charm decor is inviting & you feel instantly transported, esp on a day w/ Chicago sweltering heat. Food & drinks were amazing. The menu was spectacular & it's hard to choose bc they have many great seafood options. Our server Cynthia (Cyndi) was an absolute dream. She was so sweet & personable. We never felt rushed considering how busy this place can get. Luckily, we were able to sit next to the windows with street views & the wind to help cool off. We'll be back again, without a doubt! Hopefully next time we can catch dinner when they have live music.
I really loved this place. We came for brunch before one of our Lollapalooza days and had an amazing waitress which we really loved. She ensured our food and drinks came out fast so we'd have enough time for our day, and made us really good food and drink recommendations. The upstairs indoor/outdoor vibe is really nice, sitting inside when its a little warm out was perfect. We had a reservation, but there was a line at the door before they opened (and I think everyone was able to get in, even without a reservation). I'd return here any day.
First time here and it was everything I imagined. My date and I enjoyed our food. I started out with a Hampton Frose, for appetizers Crispy Quesadillas and Tuna Tartare. For brunch I chose the “The Gatsby Breakfast” which consist of French Toast, eggs, bacon (substitute turkey sausage), and hash browns. Capped off the afternoon with a “Coopers Beach morning stroll”, it was decent but liked the Frose better.
Brunch was an absolute delight - flawless cuisine, exceptional service, and a charming atmosphere; undoubtedly deserving a perfect 10 out of 10. Be sure to make a reservation and indulge in the delectable Monkey Bread! As out-of-towners, we sought a trendy brunch destination with great food, and this place, among a few others, exceeded our expectations.
Food was very good and the service was even better. You must try the Crab and Shrimp Bruschetta and anything with seafood on the menu is delicious. We topped it all off work the Tres Leches Pound Cake. Simply amazing.
