Great location nestled in the heart of Downtown Chicago. Not as busy as the State Street location, so it's a bit cozier. The staff is quite helpful, and they have personality! The move the line quickly, without making you feel rushed.
This location has a huge homeless customer base, so be prepared to harass for a cup of coffee. I offered to get one a cup at 7 Eleven, however, they refused. Living in gentrified Chicago must have given them an expensive taste. (Better take this 99¢ coffee☕🐸).
Despite the homeless population, the establishment is very tidy and smells fresh.
This is the flip side of the homeless epidemic, and where this Starbucks® really shines. Instead of pushing them out, welcome them, understanding their situation. They keep the bathroom stocked with 🚽 toilet paper and soap. Also, the less fortunate patron know that most other places would kick them out, so they understand it behooves you behave accordingly.
So with their wonderful staff and marvelous location, this Starbucks is a hidden gem!
AP is literally the best cashier I have ever met. I come in here around 4-5 times a week for my coffee and he always know what I want and need before I even say it. Great young man. I'm sure he's going to do big things.
The Starbucks is pretty typical of Starbucks that you would find in one of the less desirable areas in town.
The staff in barista seem to be challenged with common drinks like a black and white mocha. But they did try to make it right. The barista had a little bit of a communication challenge but got things right so we're happy about that.
The bathrooms were actually quite clean especially considering the location.
It was a good choice for extra food, water and drinks.

i had such the best starbucks experience here ever!!! the barista Rowan made my drink amazing, and she had the best customer service ever that made my day! i would 100% recommend coming here
Very busy, but staff did a great job and was very kind and efficient. Store very clean and lots of open space with high ceilings. The croissant I ordered was fresh and tasty. Will definitely frequent it again. It is located in the downtown Chicago area.
It Starbucks. So, no surprise with the food or coffee. But my PSL and egg sandwich was good

Wow what an amazing crew. Canaan is AMAZING. Great customer service, fast, friendly. Like Canaan, JD brings humour and professionalism to the party. A great crew, great organisation and place to come back to when I’m in the area
