I lived in japan for 7 years and visited quite a few times after coming back to states and this Ramen is the best I’ve seen stateside thus far! I’d definitely go back and my wife (Japanese) agrees!

hands down the greatest ramen restaurant in chicago. i rarely eat anywhere else when i'm craving real japanese ramen. i lived in tokyo & it's very difficult to get ramen that come close to the real deal. this place is spot on.

Ramen shops are popping up all over Chicago, but Ramen Misoya is definitely one you want to check out. It is dangerous living so close to here. I typically go with Tonkotsu or Spicy Miso. The broth is rich and full of flavor. Pork is good (not as good as Ramen-Sans, but it is leaner). Anyways, just go here, you won’t be disappointed.

The ramen was amazing! The place is small, cozy, and somewhat minimalist. It reminded me of some ramen places I've been to in Japan. The noodles were perfect. It was springy and chewy. The broth was delicious. We each got a different broth. Both were great. We shared the octopus balls appetizer (takoyaki). That was also a hit. Next time, we are in Chicago or NYC, we will have to seek it out.

Nice ramen spot I live the ability to add on and since it was a cold day I definitely appreciated the hot tea. Like most ramen places I have been up the seating is tight so be prepared to make a friend. The reason why I gave the restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the black garlic oil. At other ramen places I have been to you add it in yourself. Here it's already added to your tonkotsu ramen and it's strong!

On Wednesday at 2 pm there was enough free tables, but there also was a waiting list on the door, so be ready to wait during the rush hour. The place looks authentic, so Ramen was great :) Prices for a ramen start from just $10. I'm not a big fun of ramen, but the one here I liked.

Chicken Karage is amazing! Their ramen portions are huge and flavorful with unique add one like shrimp tempura, potato wedges, and more. Love their Hokkaido spicy broth. Their service is fast and this location never has a wait. Street parking available outside. Warning: your clothes will smell like ramen the rest of the day!

The ramen here is amazing! I've only been to a few places like this, but they DO IT RIGHT. While waiting to eat, a couple left and mentioned to us that they have tried multiple ramen restaurants in the downtown Chicago area, and that this one was the BEST. We had high hopes coming in because of this, and we were not disappointed! Small menu, big portions, delicious ramen. Will be back for sure 👍

They used to have really good fried chicken but they don't sell anymore. They only sell ramen noodles now. The Tokyo Miso is most suitable for light and natural taste since the other two are quite more on the heavier, thicker side for the broth. Tokyo Miso Spicy Ramen is my preference among all. Followed by Tonkohsu Spicy Ramen. The pork belly is quite rough and can be much softer and juicier. Overall, it's nice but not the best ramen I've eaten.
