I'm writing this review more as a memoir as we missed the closing!
We found this gem a few years ago and it easily became our favorite restaurant. We were last there in October for our anniversary. The best italian food, the best customer service. Thank you for the memories

I love everything about this place. It's in the cut (blink and you'll miss it) neighborhood walk, the wine and the food is great. Staff were kind and very informative.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Hyde park. Their lunch specials (cookie, sandwiches and coffee) combination is my favorite. This place truly feels like a cafe in that you can come with friends, share coffee and light snacks and talk while enjoying the ambience.

My friends and I stopped on a lark, had never been before, and LOVED it! The ambience was nice and the waitstaff very solicitous. The food was tasty and there was enough to take home for a late night snack. Quite reasonably priced.

Just a block away from the Museum of Science and Industry, I somehow missed this place for years. Perfect sizes baked goodies and delicious express/ coffee drinks. The presentation is always a smile maker!

We had no reservation, but we were immediately seated outside. It was a beautiful night. We ordered the grilled calamari, spaghetti w/white wine sauce and half chicken. Everything was delicious and fast service. Hadn't been in awhile and definitely wasn't disappointed.

Lovely old-fashioned restaurant, and they're all about the pasta, which is great! I absolutely loved my Gnocchi which was perfect with the mozzarella, but then had regrets once I tasted my wife's Fruit de Mer Pasta where the taste of seafood was just overwhelmingly incredible. The Fried Calamari was also tasty, but worked better with just a lemon squeeze. I also recommend saving your bread for the pasta sauce. The Tiramisu was perfect but keep in mind it does have 3 alcohols in it. I preferred if they mentioned that in the menu so we wouldn't have ordered it. Otherwise a great meal!

What a quaint and lovely hidden gem! I'm so glad online reviews led my mother and I here. The servers were very friendly, spot on with their recommendations, and provided excellent care. The food was delicious and cooked and seasoned perfectly! We ordered the Norwegian salmon and chicken specials. Highly recommend this place. And we look forward to returning!
