Cute lil restaurant. Very warm inviting environment. Makes you feel like you're in a small mom and pop restaurant in a small town with the atmosphere and service. The food is AMAZING. The pizza is honestly so good. Recommend the bacon jam pizza! Easy street parking available and affordable prices for decently sized pizza. (1 could feed 2 adults who don't normally eat a whole pizza alone, my husband and I get 2 for leftovers)

Best pizza out of the four places we went to on an official Chicago pizza tour. Great wine selection too. Interesting toppings like pistachio.

I write this as I sit in their dining room, contemplating what made me eat so much. We ordered 3 pizzas and the broccolini burrata. The pepperoni jalapeno was my winner - spicy and meaty; the salami and honey - wasn't necessarily something I would have ordered but pretty good; and a plain cheese pizza. All were just excellent and had great flavors. All the prices were very reasonable... This is the type of restaurant that makes me miss living in Chicago.

Mamma Mia! What a gem this place is! Possibly the thinnest most delicious crust on this planet. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a pizza 🍕 enthusiast 😊❤️

Coal Fire Pizza in Chicago is an absolute gem! The moment I walked in, the smell of the aroma of freshly baked pizza was super delicious! The coal-fired crust was perfectly crispy and charred, making each bite a delightful experience. The authentic atmosphere and ambiance were terrific. The variety of toppings and the quality of ingredients set this place apart. The staff was friendly and attentive. Whether you're a pizza enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, Coal Fire Pizza is a must-visit. I am definitely coming back for this delicious crunchy pizza! Highly recommended!

This place came highly recommended by a friend and lived up to the hype. We shared a pepperoni and ricotta pizza which was fantastic. I want to come back with a group so we can try multiple flavors-several others looks amazing as well! Fast, friendly service and impressive pizza 🍕 😬

We recently had dinner at Coalfire really enjoyed their Jalapeno Pepperoni which was nicely baked thin crust with a good amount of char. Savoury tomato sauces, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeno were all good quality and tasty. This was a really good pizza, one we'd gladly return to reorder.

Came here on a whim early this afternoon with my mom and brother. We were out enjoying the warm weather and were in the mood for pizza. Decided to give Coalfire a try and we all loved it. We ordered two pies, a margherita and pepperoni with whipped ricotta. The chewy, flavorful crust along with the sauce, basil, and pepperoni made for very tasty pies. Each pizza was placed atop a tomato can (love the presentation!) by the server once brought out. Shoutout for the awesome service from the staff! Definitely a place worth trying.

It was very good, but it wouldn’t be my first choice for pizza in Chicago. Thin crust pizza with a crisp crust, but the center of the pizzas were a little floppy, and not much sauce. The toppings were great though. $20 per pizza. I would eat here again.

Hands down, the best coal-fired pizza you can get in Chicago. I've lived here for 6 decades and I've been to Italy numerous times ( Yes, I'm validating myself!) and Coalfire nails it. Our favorites are The Lasagna pizza, & the spicy pepperoni with ricotta & honey.
