Drew's On Halsted

We have gone here often over the years. It is a nice, friendly restaurant, with good service and good drinks. The food is decent. My only complaint is that the menu doesn't change much and is not very big so we always end up ordering the same things. We would go more often if there was more variety to the menu.

Immediately greeted by their friendly staff as soon as I opened the door. Staff gave recommendations that were all phenomenal. Drew stopped by our table & his genuine passion for his people, the patrons, and the menue were instantly felt. Thank you Drew & team for creating an unforgettable meal and dining experience. Our dinner at Drew's on Halsted was a memorable culinary journey shared with friends. We began with the indulgent Baked Potato Soup, followed by perfectly prepared main courses: Steak, Duck, and Chicken. On walking in the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant had everything ready for our party with no hassle. The food was very affordable with good portions for the restaurant. The salmon pizza was really good and a wonderful healthy option for a great price. We will definitely be coming back!

Drew’s is a neighborhood staple for finer dining on the Halsted/Boystown strip. This is one of the restaurants that has a distinctive family owned vibe. As the years pass the staff’s friendly smiles remain the same as the food only gets better. Try anything on the menu — you won’t be disappointed. And for the cocktails, expect a heavy pour every time.

Had a great experience during restaurant week during. Service was amazing and the live music was great! Perfect for a nice dinner. Our server was Rodger and he was excellent!!! The food was very good but I will say the pork chop was a little dry, but still very good given all the other flavors in the dish. I have recommended this place to friends as a great day spot with fun cocktails!
