I love it so much. We went there for brunch yesterday. They made us very comfortable the minute we were seated. The manager approached us first and introduced herself. Our server was so friendly to us. I wish I could have got her name. I ordered a pineapple mimosa. Unfortunately, they don't have it. She was gracious to suggest to try their ginger pineapple juice and make it a mimosa. I wish servers are like that. I love their mushroom & quinoa burger. So heavenly. I love their interior space and the big patio with mix amd match/communal and sofa seatings. Definitely, i'll come back for more. Rest assured, I will recmend this place to my friends!

The food was decent and it was a great casual atmosphere for brunch. I appreciated the cozy setting of the restaurant with an outdoor seating option as well. No strong desire to be back — even the pastries that I got (cinnamon roll and the banana bread) were just okay. Heard a lot about Beatrix and although it was a decent experience, the food was just OK.

Overall: The food was delicious and the service was professional, courteous, and timely. Price point good for the quality of the food. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. Wish there was outdoor seating though. Main Course: I had the Eggs Your Way, Light & Fluffy Lemon Pancakes, and the Oven Baked Brioche French Toast. I really enjoyed all 3 dishes but would recommend the French Toast over the Pancakes. Portion size: The portion sizes are quite large and will leave you feeling stuffed. Price point: Surprisingly better than some of the other brunch spots in the area. I felt like I got a way better value here than at Publican across the street. Service: Courteous, professional, and timely. Ambiance: Casual. Attire: Casual. Reservations: Weekend brunch is packed. We didn't have a reservation and the line was out the door. Would HIGHLY recommend a reservation, especially for brunch. Parking: We walked here from our hotel so cannot speak to the parking situation.

I absolutely love Beatrix. It’s one of my favorite brunch spots in Chicago. I’ve tried most of the menu and everything has always been delicious. The seasonal pumpkin pancake is phenomenal, it literally melts in your mouth. Just adding the pictures of the food makes my mouth water.

I had the pleasure of dining at Beatrix and was completely blown away. The taste of the food was among the best I've ever experienced. But it wasn't just the food that impressed me; the service was outstandingly friendly. What made the experience even more delightful was the ambiance. It boasts a very relaxing atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options, allowing patrons to choose according to their preference. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience!

We had a very nice brunch here! The server was great and they let us parked our luggage there and being very patient with us since one of the guest was running 40 min late. Food were delicious and setting was open and comfortable. I recommend this place for a happy brunch!

I come here because it’s great for gluten free with a separate gluten free menu. Food awesome, coffee is a bit of a letdown if you are going for breakfast. Otherwise loved it. Always worth a visit if you are in Chicago.

Fish tacos were delicious. Highly recommend the honey glazed Brussel sprouts. Dessert is always a show stopper... we had the seasonal option. Pumpkin and pecan pie. Crust was semi sweet. Service was delightful. Quiet for a Saturday night.

I love this place for brunch, my favorite are the power green juices freshly squeezed and my ham and cheese croissant with salad! Definitely make reservations bc they get really busy.

As always, YMMV (your mileage may vary). It was our first time here (first time in Chicago) and even though it was near the end of business day the food was good, well prepared, and the server was pleasant throughout. Preparation was on point, flavors were clean, and portions were right, neither over the top nor skimpy. Kennebec fries were properly prepared, oil was proper temp (would be soggy if cold). We enjoyed the white, vinegary dipping sauce it came with, never had it before, had to ask for more. The fried crisp lemon and pepper slices added variety and flavor. Ordered the Chicken Enchiladas with Verde sauce. Wasn't sure about it as I'm used to having it at my local taquerias and restaurants, looked very different from what I have had over the decades. Don't expect your usual taqueria fare but be open minded. It had good flavor, green Chile sauce had good chile flavor, chicken was tender, cherry tomatoes added some brightness. Braised short rib was even better, super tender, bold sauce with sweetness and miso flavor up front followed by a mild zip. Delightful sweet potato mash and fresh peas added texture and sweet pea flavor. Get this if those flavors appeal to you. Want to come back and try baked goods.

I stopped in here after it had made the list of 50 best in Chicago for their caramel pie. I had never had a caramel pie, but the review was so effusive that I thought I’d give it a shot. Oh boy. Did it deliver and then some. Bite after glorious bite, I felt like I had ascended into some decadent land of cream and sugar and this was their proudest creation. It was amazing, and charmingly the staff had no idea they had made the list for their pie! I had brought the magazine in with me and we got to talking and they looked it over, genuinely proud they’d made it. It was such a lovely experience. I had come in alone and sat at the bar just to order this pie and Abby and Max were so hospitable and friendly! They elevated an already lovely experience into one that was memorable and special. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Chicago to sample some more of their menu, but thinking ahead to dessert the entire time.
