This is the place we go EVERY time we go to Chinatown! Friendly staff and always great food! Food is served "family style". A large order of, let's just say, Chicken Fried Rice, will feed a family of 4. But we usually get 2 or 3 different things and we always wind up bringing food home. Great place, great staff, great food! Highly recommend.

After ordering a few items for delivery last night I was so impressed that I took my husband and son to the restaurant for lunch today before leaving town. Atmosphere was perfect, food was absolutely amazing, every one of the 8 dishes we ordered was delicious! The employees were efficient, kind, and courteous. They even gave us a reusable cloth bag to carry our plastic bag of leftovers in since we had a bit more exploring to do in Chinatown. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wide selection of deliciously prepared dim sum!

Nice service but slow. But it was Christmas mid day and packed. All dishes amazing. Took food home. Leftovers also amazing if you have plum sauce and Siracha. I do miss Three Happiness on the corner which had better service and food though. By a margin. I def recommend this place!

Triple crown restaurant! Let me get into it! The food here was very good. If you don’t know TCR is a dimsum place. All the food is very good. The quality is great! You can taste how good each dish is that you order. And the price is worth every bite! The service was okay seemed a little chaotic with the amount of people who work there walking around. The atmosphere was great. You can over look the main road and see people and things happening outside which is a nice change! It defiantly was welcoming when you first walk in. Overall, I will say give TCR a shot if you wanna have good tasting dimsum.

Haven’t been here a bunch of times, but my experience was great. I was just before the dinner rush. They serve dim sum all day, so I started with some pan seared shrimp and chive dumplings which were great, then moved on to the Salt and Pepper Pork chops, which were awesome. Yes, you’re gonna have to spit out the bones. If that’s off-putting for you, go to Panda and order the General Tao’s chicken. This was a great experience.

A decent and reasonably priced restaurant. Food is delicious. Service can be a bit slow, especially during evening/dinner rush hours. Portion is huge, and good to serve two people for 1.5 meals easily. Cleanliness could be improved. Overall positive.

Came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable, prompt and courteous. First time here so we ordered a variety of dishes and everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

This time in Chicago I have decided to try a new place for dim sum after a friend's recommendation to Triple Crown and overall was not disappointed. My friends and I had a reduced menu for some reason so it had fewer items than the one shown online. All of the congee and the vegetables were missing. I do not know if it is because we were there for dinner, but that was okay because what the menu contained was more than enough. We ordered what we could and it satisfied my friends' cravings as most of them fulfilled their very first dim sum experience. My favorite was the liquid custard bun (流沙包), the triple crown shrimp dumpling (大三元虾饺), the shrimp & chive dumpling (鲜虾韭菜饺), and the pan fried turnip cake (香煎萝卜糕). One thing I say about dim sum is that when one has it, there's not really a place where dim sum is going to be spectacularly good, because one would expect it to taste like what it is supposed to taste like. Only when it is bad that one would be able to tell right away. So the items I mentioned, they tasted like what they were supposed to taste like, and that was definitely a good thing. Not saying the rest didn't, though, as many other items were good as well, such as the scallop dumpling (带子饺), the fried sesame ball (黄金煎堆仔), the stuffed sticky rice (珍珠糯米鸡), and so on. A few items did not taste as good as I had expected, but were still good enough and would not ruin my experience at all. We ordered twelve different kinds of dim sum and were overall satisfied. My friends who were not Chinese had a wonderful time with their first dim sum experience. It would have been nice if some items like the pineapple top BBQ pork bun (叉烧菠萝包), the Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce (蚝油芥蓝), the puffy egg custard tart (酥皮蛋挞), etc. were on the menu that we were given. But if the reduced menu was a dinner thing, then so be it. I still thought whatever they had would be able to give people a pleasant experience. They also had other menus with non-dim sum items. I took a look but didn't pay much attention. The photos looked appealing, though. I just don't know if I would return to this place to order items that were not dim sim simply because a lot of the dishes I have had while at home in China and grew up eating them (but not necessarily dim sum). But I still encourage others to give them a shot. In conclusion, great food! A lot of other factors ranging from courtesy to sanitation (bathrooms) can be better, but I understand how Chinese restaurants here in the United States typically run their businesses and I am not picky about it. It just means the food is reliably good as it has the heaviest emphasis.

A Chinatown staple, delicious comfort food! Came here for dinner with friends and we were ecstatic about the variety - there was something for everyone and prices were fair! Some highlights included the chicken feet, the turnip cakes, and siu mai. For service, make sure to flag down wait staff. Decor and furniture was outdated, but we didn’t mind because the food was so worth it!

We stopped by for lunch here and over all we were happy. They are busy around lunch, so get in and put your name in before you explore the city for a bit. We got a few different plates and loved them all (some maybe we won't order again but still glad we tried them). Service is definitely lacking tho in this place - you have to flag ppl down. Once the order is in tho, they move fast so it kinda works out. The food comes hot and perfect for that first bite.

Good egg roll and crab rangoon. Beef was just ok. A little hard to chew. Would be nice to have some peppers or mushrooms in there too. Not upscale. Super quick and attentive service. Place could be cleaner. Seems like it was once a grand place.

Beef and mushrooms was excellent. Enjoyed the shrimp dumplings, bbq pork bao buns and the pan fried potstickers. Quick service. Affordable prices.
