This seafood restaurant is a great choice for lunch or dinner. They offer a wide variety of healthy seafood options and boast a nice decorated interior inspired by the sea. During our visit, we ordered the lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster roll was crispy, and the meat was tender. However, I found the soup to be slightly salty.
After sports, my friend and I come here regularly for lunch. Brown Bag is definitely my favorite restaurant and one of the most comforting places to be. All of the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful, and their food is delicious. I recommend trying the clam chowder and the gingerade at least one time!
Lunch as you like it: view physical menus on the display, order at the counter and they will bring it to your table or pack as take out. Build your own bowls or tacos or sandwiches. Had the salmon greens and grains bowl which came with a rice/barley /grain blend, shaved brussel sprouts, kale, broccoli greens and a filet of salmon. You have choices of sauces as well. Filling and delicious. Companion had greens and grains with curried fish cakes. Restaurant is small with booths in back, bar table and stools, or picnic tables outside.
Brown Bag, situated at the entrance of Willis Tower's Skydeck, is a convenient spot to unwind after the usually lengthy 1.5-hour process of visiting the Skydeck. It offers a great place to relax and enjoy a snack or meal. The establishment boasts comfortable seating areas, perfect for unwinding after enduring long lines and standing.
beautiful, delicious and gorgeous scenery, i didnt want to leave at all. i recommend their fish and chips and seasonal specials!
I need one of these in Michigan! What a gem! Lobster roll was delicious, but really couldn’t beat the location and view sitting outside to enjoy my sandwich and cocktail!
Billie is very personable and likes to see and celebrate frequent customers. She’s a good person to know if you plan to visit frequently. The kitchen and cashier team are also very attentive to customers. Definitely recommend the menu for those that want a seafood fix at lunch time!
I found this place simply by mistake. I'm slowly working my way across their delicious menu. I can not pick a favorite, simply because everything is so good. One of the nice things about this place, if you have a fountain drink and eating there you get a 10 oz mason jar for your glass. The whole staff is amazing. If you have a question, they'll answer your question to the best of their abilities. If you are there multiple times, they offer you a rewards card.
First time here and I’m in love. I had the lobster roll with the truffle tots, simply delicious. My son had the grilled shrimp. It was a large portion (I think 8 or 9 pieces) and I thought I would be able to share with him but he devoured it in minutes. I will make the hour trip to the city just to have this place again.
I didn't know that Brown Bag Seafood Co. was card only. My friend and I were prepared to pay with cash, but we ran into an unexpected unfortunate situation. Kath which is one of the workers has fully paid for both of our meals, her reasoning was that she did not want us to leave hungry, this was the nicest treatment towards customers that I've ever seen.
