I enjoyed dinner after visiting Chicago360 at John Hancock Center building.
Luckily "the Chicago Restaurant Week" is was held, I chose the special menu.
Cup of brisket chili with cornbread garnish was very good for warming my body. (outside was very chilly)
2 meat sampler menu was my selected meat (beef brisket and pulled pork) and fried potato. That was very good portion and delicious!
Dessert was banana cream pie, that was sweet, delicious and very good finish of my dinner.
The atmosphere of the restaurant and the room was very clean, stylish.
A waitress was very friendly and kind to me. so I had a very very good dinner time!
We love Southern Cut. We have been 3 times. The food and service are always consistently excellent. Loved the BBQ mac & cheese! The leftover ribs were even better at home two days later!
Great food. They make a watered down old fahioned though (soda water added). I would eat there again but avoid their mixed drinks. Nice outdoor seating with awesome view of the Hancock tower.
This is the best food we have tried in Chicago so far. We found it online and we didn't have high expectations. So it was a great surprise. My husband ran the marathon so it was a great place to come afterwards. We shared a two meat platter with sliced brisket and pulled pork. Both were delicious. The brisket was super soft. We were surprised they had North Carolina vinegar! It's not common to find it.
We also ordered baby back ribs that were tasty and soft. These plates come with coleslaw that was surprisingly delicious. We didn't order an extra side because we were afraid it would be too much food. It was a good decision because we still had space for dessert. We ordered a delicious carrot cake. Some people may think that the slice was too small, but I think it was ok after eating so much meat. In addition to the food, the place is nice and a good option for a date night. We spent around $30 per person but it was worth it. I definitely recommend it.
Chicago wasn't reading a temperature this March morning so at zero degrees I needed to find a place close by. This was about and block and a half from my hotel door so in my mind this was my only option.
I walked in a little late for my normal lunch but around 1:15. I set at the bar and from what I could tell by my view, I was the only customer in the restaurant.
I looked over the menu and ordered a beef brisket chili and a ceasar salad. My chili came out first which was excellent. A small topping off cornbread on top that you could choose to mix in with your bites. Highly recommend.
My salad was just ok. I did like the crunch parmesan on top but the salad lacked any kind of dressing. What was there was very very lite. To lite for my taste buds.
Good food for any time of the day. Profecinal staff on a relax environment. I invite to stop by and try. Brisket is phenomenal. Good wine list and cocktails to please.
Great food. The crab cake was one of the best I've had in Chicago. We sat on the elevation portion of the restaurant, it was very private and quite we loved it!
Staff: 5 stars
Main course: 3 stars
Chicken wings: off the charts!!!
I thought the main course was pretty average, tasty and large portions but not the best in the area. The service was awesome and our waiter was so enjoyable all evening. But the chicken wings - phenom always!!! Smoked and so much flavor I could enjoy them regularly. Highly recommend for your next visit
Had breakfast here by happen chance; it was close by and we didn't have a lot of time to search or wait for a table. It was very slow, but the space was clean and inviting. We had immediate service and a solid breakfast.
Last minute choice to stop for lunch and it was awesome. Service was good and the food was amazing, especially that chocolate peanut butter pie 🥧! Amazing!!
