I've been coming to this restaurant ever since I moved into the neighborhood. My landlords gave me a $25 gift card. I used to go to a neighborhood pizza joint but Joe's Rocks. From the pizza to the fried chicken, which I order 2 12pcs of chicken, and have it for the week. Their breading on the chicken is PHENOMENAL and fried to perfection. Crispy outside, juicy on the inside. Plus a very friend staff which represents the restaurant as a family place. They know everyone that comes into this place. If you want to try a great neighborhood place come and check out Joe's.
The best thin pizza joint in all of Jefferson Park! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, & even better food. It's a must for all Chicagoans!
My boyfriend and I love coming to Joe’s. It’s in our neighborhood and the perfect place for some delicious food. The service is always great and they are very welcoming. They have a variety of options and can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
I would recommend the following: sausage and peppers appetizer, pasta fagioli soup, ravioli and gnocchi vodka, and their thin pizza!
They also pour a strong old fashioned and a delicious espresso martini.
And make sure to save room for their tiramisu!
We have been ordering great pizza from Joe's for years. This was our first visit to their new home. It won't be our last. The restaurant has a contemporary setting, but has a kind of elegance also. Alyssa was our server and she was great. She makes an excellent old fashioned. The food was delicious. We had calamari, pasta fagioli, lasagna, whitefish ( which they can serve limone or vesuvio style, and an order of meatballs. I recommend them all. I defy anyone to finish the lasagna, it was a very nice portion. For dessert we had the bananas foster cheese cake and carrot cake. The only negative of the whole dinner was that in our opinion, the carrot cake was slightly on the dry side.
Joe's on Higgins has been a neighborhood staple for years. By opening their new location, I think they have cemented their status as a neighborhood icon. It's a great place for date night, a place to watch a game with friends or just hang out and have dinner. Well done Joe's!
New restaurant to the neighborhood. Great cocktails, delicious food, and fantastic service! Came in a few weeks ago with my family and had the eggplant rollatini and chicken Vesuvio. Food was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be dining in again soon!

Joe’s on Higgins is truly one of a kind! I ordered a stuffed pizza & a the meatball appetizer. There are so many topping options for pizzas & the atmosphere was so open & sophisticated. 10/10!
This is the real deal. I’m picky about Italian food and Joe’s did not disappoint. Authentic Italiam cuisine and absolutely delicious pizza. We had 4 different kinds of pizza and they were all excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful and they have great service. The wine and cocktail list were fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Joes has been my favorite neighborhood pizza spot for years. But since the move to their new location I see them as more than a pizza joint now. The ambience is great and the drinks are good too. I decided to try something that wasn’t pizza for the first time and was not disappointed. The pasta was very good and my wife loved the fettuccine alfredo. Joes will be my new spot for pizza and a close nice sit down dinner.
The new location is great, amazing service by the team especially Allyssa. We had the eggplant rollitini, beet and artichoke salad and supreme pizza. Filled us up and we will definitely be back!
We came here after going to the Ringling Brother's show at the All State arena. I picked it based off of previous reviews and the extensive menu and I have to agree they were all correct. Great family atmosphere, great owners (Vicky was amazing and came over and chatted with the whole family and was so gracious about our very active kids) and great food. The portions are HUGE and tasty can't wait to come back again with the family for another amazing meal!
Really cute space. TVs for watching the game. Little party room in the back. Lots of windows for natural lighting. Outdoor patio section in the warmer months.
Pizza was solid! My 16 yo son really loved the cheese sticks! My husband went back the next day for more bruschetta! The service was friendly.
