Always have a good time here. The hosts are gracious and wait staff simply efficient and courteous. It makes the evening so enjoyable. Ribs are always spot on but I really enjoyed the chopped liver. I hadn’t had it in over a decade!. Key lime pie is to die for so what are you waiting for!

Come for the ribs and stay for the crab cakes. The steamed broccoli, one of their sides, is bland and lacks seasoning. Their famous coleslaw is good but really nothing special. On the other hand, the crab cake is excellent with lots of crab meat, It's served on a bed of arugula. Of course, their ribs are rightfully famous. Great service and a conversation friendly dinning room. Request one of their 4 tables overlooking the Ogden slip if you want a view.

Went twice to Carson's during my stay in Chicago. Once for dinner and once for lunch.
Great and fast service, awesome ribs, and the place is very nice and relaxed. Recommend.

Cornbread is amazing and so is the Greek salad. The BBQ is very tender and tasty. Got the half slab of ribs and pork chop and both were melt in your mouth good.
Sauce is on the sweeter side but the char crust on the ribs and chops were amazing. Cocktails were strong and tasty, was too full for dessert but plan on going back soon enough to find out what some other items are like.

Love restaurant's atmosphere. Very clean and great service. BBQ Baby back rib is the best! No reservation is required, but strongly Recommend to make a reservation in advance.

We stumbled across this because it was close to Navy Pier. Food was excellent. I had filet medallions and my husband had ribs with brisket. We both had twice baked potatoes. They even made a grilled cheese and fries for our daughter. Can’t say enough good things about our experience!!

Carson's lived up to it reviews! This place was amazing! The cornbread as the appetizer was perfect, salads were fresh. My bf had the BBQ ribs with chicken; it was huge! But I helped him eat it cuz it looked so good. We are from TX, and he said it'd the best BBQ he's had, I'd agree 👍. I had the shrimp, with the twice baked potato, it was great. Staff was very nice and very attentive. Highly recommend!
