Waiter was very friendly and attentive.
It was pleasantly surprising how many gluten-free and dairy-free options they have. The salmon and steak were delicious and the sparkling guava/lime drink was amazing!
First time at this location. We were served with bread and butter - loved it. We then had the Korean fried cauliflowers and the Korean Fried chicken (comes with kimchi, avocados, and rice). The food was great! I also ordered a Chocolate tuxedo cake to go. It was so yum!
Visited on week day, very quiet. Burgers are great, and unfortunately no space left for their cheesecake. Quite dark inside the restaurant, most people reaching for phone lights to read the menu. Dinning tables available outside. Free refills for some of the soft drinks.
The food was great but the service was even better! Jasmine was a very attentive, polite and outgoing waitress and I wish I could hire her myself! Would definitely go back just for her service and the many many different kinds of cheesecake!!
First visit, Saturday evening 8/19.
Pros:
Lillyth was the best part of our experience. Attentive yet not overbearing, patient, and accommodating.
Nice ambiance even though it was a packed house, very dim lighting in the bar area, really unique decor and furnishings. Clean restrooms although could’ve used a touch up.
We did make a reservation and I recommend making one. Makes it a lot easier on a busy night.
Cons:
They were out of the salmón díane combo and all combos
They were out of the tamale cake
Food ratings-
Peach lemonade- 5/5
Lemonade 5/5 (very similar to chik fil a’s even a bit sweeter)
Cucumber lemonade -5/5 unique taste but refreshing
Strawberry shake- 4/5- nice flavor but there was an aftertaste I didn’t care for
Bread - 5/5
Baja chicken tacos 5/5- chicken tasted like it was made at a good Mexican restaurant
Beans 0/5- had no seasoning or flavor
Rice-1/5 no seasoning(I.e salt)
Meatloaf -3/5 a bit too mushy for me, wife enjoyed it though
Mashed potatoes and corn 5/5-really good
Chicken Alfredo fettuccine 3/5- just your average
Americana burger -4/5 good flavor, sesame seed bun a plus but too much bun for the meat but I did order it well done
Fries 4/5- crispy
Fried Mac and cheese 5/5- surprisingly delicious
Egg roll sampler- 4/5 -all were good but I didn’t like the chicken egg roll too much and the avocado roll was ok, I found out warm avocado is not my cup of tea. Sauces for the egg rolls were delicious
Hershey cheesecake-5/5- rich and creamy
We ordered a whole cheesecake (half original and half Ghirardelli very cherry- will update once we’ve tasted it)
Prices 4/5- not necessarily overpriced but not reasonable either.
Parking- 4/5 they validate parking (there’s a $40 2 hour lot next door) but we used street parking right across from the restaurant- 2 hours was enough time, being a minute.
Recommend for a special occasion or just because. There were parents with kids bs strollers and they seemed to be ok. Outside seating available.
I'm Japanese.
We handle not only cheesecake but also a wide range of cheese-related.
The taste is very good. However, there is a lot of quantity.
The problem is that it is common for many Japanese people.
Actually, I went with several Japanese people, but we all left,
so it was clearly a large amount.
We had a great time! We arrived at 1145am. We were without a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes. There were 3 in our party. We enjoyed the avocado egg rolls as an appetizer, and it was delicious! For our meal, we had Cream of Chicken soup, a grilled chicken avocado club, and the lunch portion of Evelyn's Pasta. We all finished our meals and couldn't have been more satisfied. We did also enjoy the low-licious plain cheesecake and a raspberry truffle regular cheesecake.
Can't wait to return!
Great food! We booked because our kids wanted to try the cakes. Surprisingly, they have a wide range of food. Even more surprisingly, the food was excellent and prices were reasonable. Good value for money. The place itself, too dark inside. Nice service.
Can you go wrong with the Cheesecake Factory? When other restaurants are reducing their once expansive menus down to a page, the CF's menu is still a phone book. Everything from Asian fusion, Creole and American favourites. A culinary expert will warn you that a restaurant with a large menu means poor authenticity and quality, but I do think this chain bucks that rule. I think their continued popularity means a large kitchen with specialist chefs. We've tried many items from different locations and visits and have yet to have a bad meal.
Popularity does mean that you'll often need to wait, but how long depends on when you go. For this, the location of theatres means come show time, it will quieten down.
This is one of my coming places when I'm in chicago. The Thai lulettuce wrap is my all-time favorite.
