We loved it! First time I ever had a deep dish, it was fabulous! It was a Friday night and we didn't make reservations. We were told it was an hour wait and it would take an hour to bake the deep dish. So we added our names to the list and ordered our pizza. In just under an hour our table was ready. So we completed our shopping and got our table right at one hour. Our pizza was delivered immediately and it was worth the wait. I'm looking to our return to Chicago.
I had the pleasure of trying their deep dish pizza, and it was absolutely amazing! It's easily one of the best deep dish pizzas I've ever had. The restaurant can get quite crowded, so I recommend ordering ahead and taking a leisurely stroll along Navy Pier while you wait for your delicious pizza to be ready. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be coming back for more!
Visiting Chicago. Must try deep dish pizza; they say. Was a little hesitant about it. If you are feeling the same way. Come to Giordano’s….. it’s was out of this world. It was a bit pricey for what I am used to… We tried the veggie pizza. Mushrooms, peppers, onions, black olives. It was the perfect amount of cheese and 🥕 and . The bread was crispy at first. Yummy 😋
Ithe crust got a little moist the longer it settled. It was expected after we analyzed the moisture of the veggies. Come over to the location at the Navy Pier..
Pizza was amazing with a buttery flaky crust, yummy!!!! Beer was ice cold and service was attentive. When you come to Chicago you gotta get deep dish pizza and Giordano's is the place to go.
We tried Giordano's while in Chicago for a weekend attending a wedding. This was our second of three meals tasting Chicago style deep dish pizza. Giordano's at the Navy Pier had great pizza with a flaky but firm crust. The atmosphere of the restaurant was well done and from where we were sitting could see the pizza's being made in a windowed room. The only disappointment was that the service was a little slow and not too attentive. We otherwise had a good experience.
Best pizza around. Lost a star for the time it takes to get actual pizza. Preordered and it still took more than an hour and a half. Don’t get me wrong, totally worth the wait, will continue to visit and eat the pizza. But maybe they could hire another person or buy a couple more ovens? :)
This was our first visit. The wait staff were all friendly and engaging. Our pizza was delicious. So glad we experienced some delicious Chicago style deep dish pizza. When we arrived, the line was intimidating because it was long, but we were seated prior to the estimated time given.

We stayed at Sable which is located in the same facility. We have a little one so very convenient to go because there is a long indoor hallway from the hotel to the end of the mall Giordano's. Deep Dish Pizza is served pretty quickly. We still waited 43 min but the entrance, website, menu, and server mentioned the long waiting time in the beginning so we were all aware it. The key is to order the deep dish pizza first, I mean immediately you are seated, then talk or think about ordering appetizers. We succeeded in this order. The baby was not fussy at all!
The thing is the deep dish was not warm enough. Not cold but it's not hot. Because the inside was too hot so they let it be cool a bit for us or not? Nobody burned our tongue tho lol but our baby could eat it without blow to cool.
We ordered the Chicago Classic deep dish pizza here and while it didn't rock my world, it was still good. We were sitting outside when it started pouring rain. The staff didn't sprint into action whatsoever. It was like being on a sinking ship and having to fend for yourself so be careful sitting outside if rain is in the forecast.
This was my first time in Chicago and my boyfriend took me to Giordano's. BEST PIZZA EVER! I have also never had Chicago deep dish and omg it was amazing 😍 The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we even had our picture taken and put on a postcard with option to purchase one for $20. Definitely an amazing experience for me ❤️
This Giordanos location is pretty good. Nothing exceptional but just that good ol Giordanos Pizza and a nice and busy location right by Navy Pier.
The restaurant is nice and big and even has a large outdoor patio area.
While it is a busy and booming restaurant they still manage to take care of everyone pretty well.
For deep dish pizza definitely need to order appetizers because youll end up waiting around 40 to 50 minutes for your pizza to arrive regardless of size.
My only gripe is when we got our pizza it wasnt piping hot but more as if it had been sat out for a bit before coming to us. We didnt complain because it allowed us to eat it right away.
The calamari appetizer we had was also good and able to be shared with 3 people.

Pizza, as always, is good. There was a mistake with our order, but they corrected it promptly. It can get a bit crowded, but there is plenty of seating inside and outside the restaurant.
We have been visiting from Texas over the weekend and I have to say, everybody who was suggesting Giordano's was right! Neither of us was even mad it took so long to get to the consummation part, because it was SO worth it.
They let you pick the pizza after you reserve a table and send you a message when your table is ready. We ordered the fresh spinach and a couple beers. Small size is just enough for two people. The service was great for such a busy place. Next time we're in the city, definitely going again. Also this spot is great for dates as you can walk the pier before or after the dinner.
We wanted deep dish Chicago style pizza and this was the winner for sure! I don't like gummy+bready crust, and this was a thinner, deeper crust with TONS of all the toppings in the middle. This is more like a stuffed pie in my opinion. It is a good thing though! Deep dish takes about 45 minutes to make so be aware of that when you come. Yum!
It's worth the trip. Pizza is huge so keep that in mind but so very delicious. What I liked best was that the server brings any uneaten leftovers to unhomed, which made me feel good about not being able to finish it all. Top knotch place and service.
Make sure that you requested your choices ahead of time bc the deep dish pizza takes a long time to be made. Also this location right down the pier will be a busy one be prepared to wait.
Food was delicious! The food took about 45 minutes, which was warned on the menu for deep dish pizzas.
