This was our first time at Rock Bottom, although we come to Chicago 1-2 times a year and always stay in the River North area. Took the brewery and beer tasting tour found on Groupon. The tour itself was interesting but the tasting spent with the master brewer, Ray, was really informative. They brew several different styles of beer onsite. I enjoyed their Belgian Wheat and Dark Lager the most. But as an extra treat, we were given samples of a keg aged lager that was fantastic, smooth and complex with infusion of bourbon flavor. We liked the experience so much that we stayed to eat. Burgers were cooked perfectly with a nice grilled flavor with fresh toppings and a grilled bun. Waffle fries were crisp and well seasoned. Tuesdays several of their beers on tap are $2 if you eat there too. We will be back!!!

My family and I came here for the first time yesterday and I must say we will definitely come back again and most certainly recommend it. We absolutely loved the service and the food, our waiter was Zachary. He was very attentive and friendly without giving that rushing vibe that you get from some people sometimes. My husband definitely like his beer recommendations and us the dessert. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxed from gentleman that greater us and took us to our table to the place itself. Thank you for such great experience!💜

Bison sliders are very filling and flavorful. Candied bacon was just right. Waffle fries are great and their chili nachos are plentiful and well balanced.

For Chicago, prices are relatively reasonable. The ribeye was $31. I subbed garlicky mashed potatoes for the fries. They have Mac n cheese but it was a little dry and not too cheesy. If you like creamy cheesy Mac n cheese you might want to skip theirs. Food was very good otherwise. Order your steak slightly less done than you normally do because they did overcook them slightly. Still really tasty though. This place is literally up the steps from the red line train. Reservations can be made but we got in without one in about 20 minutes around 7:30 p.m. I would definitely visit this place again.

Brittany our bartender was amazing to chat with. My wife and her friend ran, so my buddy and I came to RB for a beer. We met another gentleman at the bar and the 4 of us had great conversation over beer and food. Manager working chimed in and everyone had a good Sunday! Couldn't ask for a better experience. Congrats to all the runners!!! Chi-town marathon 2021! PS. The stout is sipping beer. Warm you right up!! Dam it was good!

The host was very friendly. We had rooftop dining and our waiter was very nice! Everything we ordered was huge! You get what you pay for! My favorite the carrot cake! Delicious! So glad we found this spot! Don’t judge the sloppy pic of the cake. That’s on me not them. We got it to go and it moved while we were walking.

We went there for lunch on 4th July. This place is huge and had a rooftop. I had Mango Mojito and chicken salad which was delicious. The service was great. This was not on our list of restaurants to visit but I am glad we eventually did.

Great location close to Michigan Ave and a variety of stores and hotels. Very clean, good ambience, spacious. The steak and fries were just delicious. Really above what one usually gets in similar places. I would easily give five stars if service was a bit faster when i visited.
