A little more of a local vibe and not toursity. The food is excellent (especially the tiramisu) and priced fairly. I took the train from near the airport just to visit and I feel like it was worth the trip. I'll definitely be back.

Nancy was amazing! Everything was delicious. Make sure to get the an order of the mussels with white wine sauce! The sausage and peppers were also very tasty! Thank you for an incredible meal at the end of our trip 😄

We absolutely love this place and dine here every time we come to Chicago (at least 3x/year). The food is great, service great, it’s like going home! Hate to tell you about my secret Italian hideaway but they deserve the praise. Favorite May be the mussels in red sauce.

Like stepping back in time! We came here in 2002 for our anniversary, and while the neighborhood is very different, the food here is exactly as we remembered. Highly recommend the eggplant parm or literally any pasta with the Auntie Jo's sauce.

First time there and food was amazing and our server was very friendly. Love the atmosphere, the jerseys on the wall and historic photos everywhere at this old-school Italian restaurant. Highly recommend! Cash only and will visit again!

One of the best Italian spots in Chicago. Portions are huge, staff is amazing and the prices are always reasonable. Highly recommend stopping here if you are passing through Chicago looking for amazing local Italian food. Inside and outside seating with a dog friendly patio.

I’ve been coming here for 25 years and I will always come back. A family owned cash only restaurant where the menu is written on a chalkboard while you feel like you are in a Godfather movie makes the ambiance and atmosphere feel like home. The best Italian this side of Rome. The food is delectable. The bread is awesome and the Tufano’s salad is a must. The Angel hair pasta with mussels is my favorite, but the lobster ravioli and the veal parmigiana is delicious.

Classic Chicago restaurant. Did not rate service for this last visit because I was there for a private event, but it has always been excellent in the past. Similarly, because of the nature if the event, a limited menu was served family style. But even a visit like this reminds me that I need to visit with friends
