People say it’s the best Korean Fried Chicken in Chicago, so I had to try for myself. I get the hype— the value is fantastic (huge portions for a fair price), the sauces are sweet and savory, and the chicken is crispy. I ordered the Whole Chicken with half BBQ sauce and half Sassy Seoul sauce to share with 2 other people. It was more than enough food for the 3 of us for just ~$22. Overall, I was pleased with the chicken— it was crispy and flavorful drenched in sauce, though the chicken breast pieces were quite dry and less pleasant to eat. The other pieces were more juicy / tender though, so I’ll try probably order just drumsticks or wings in the future. Both BBQ and Sassy Seoul sauces were good, and I appreciated the ability to try both flavors. I personally preferred the Sassy Seoul more— it’s sweet and spicy. They also have bowls, burritos, and sandwiches that look really good, so I hope to try them in the future. You order at the counter and the staff brings the food out to you. The inside is pretty small and there isn’t a ton of seating overall, so it can be tough to find a table especially if you’re with a bigger group. The food comes out fast though, so it usually won’t take too long to wait for a table to clear up. — Price (relative to peers): 4.5/5 Food: 4.4/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall Value: 4.5/5

Gladly surprised with this Korean style chicken wings. Loads of flavour and not dry at all. The portions were very generous and the vegetables from the big boy Buddha bowl were a really good combination to help combat the spiciness of the wings. They served us pretty fast and although the place is not to big, we went there to have dinner on a Saturday night and we could get a seat without waiting

Tried half fried chicken with Seoul sassy and crisp bbq sauce. Both the sauces were flavorful. Crisp bbq sauce with spice level 5 was more like a 3 for us. Every sauce has a sweetish hint that compliments the spice. Quality of chicken was good. They were crisp and juicy. However, I wish they were less greasy. Lots of soda options to choose from.

Our recent visit to Crisp recent visit left us craving more of their outstanding Korean fried wings. We opted for the sassy Seoul and BBQ. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with the sauces adding an explosion of flavor that had us hooked from the first bite. The fries were crispy and golden, while the rice was cooked to perfection, offering a delightful accompaniment to the main dishes. We also tried their boneless tenders, and they were tender and flavorful. Overall, our experience at Crisp was a culinary delight with the combination of their delicious Korean fried wings, delectable sauces, and well-executed sides created a memorable meal. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine or simply love finger-licking good food, Crisp is an absolute must-visit in Chicago. We go every time!

I’ve been coming to Crisp since I moved to Chicago almost 5 years ago and still can’t get enough of it! Top tier chicken wings and a great bulgogi bowl packed with flavor. My recent favorite is definitely their new crispy chicken bowl. Highly recommend for anyone that hasn’t tried this place yet!

My top spot for Korean fried chicken in Chicago and the biggest chicken wings I’ve ever seen in my life. The Crisp BBQ sauce is spicy and my usual, with the sweeter Seoul Sassy option as a good balance. Don’t try to be cute with a fork, use your hands and lick your fingers because the flavors are that good. This place should be on everyone’s Chicago food bucket list.

First-time trying this spot. Friendly and helpful customer service. The food was delicious and very generous in portions size. Really enjoyed the Chi-town chicken bowl. Also, I really loved the large variety of drinks. Sac Sac is 💯🔥🫒💚 Would highly recommend. 👍🏽

The drumsticks was very crispy but it tasted average. FYI the drumsticks are huge. The wings were very good and flavorful. I would suggest just getting the wings instead of the drumsticks. Seatings are limited. Service was pretty fast.

Just good juicy chicken. So good I'm back again even though I don't even live here. Our take out order took less than 10 minutes for 10 wings. 20ish aint bad and it can almost fill up 3 people so it's a pretty friggen good deal all things considered. Sassy sauce: Get! Compared to the crisp bbq this one was better in our opinion. Perfect amount of flavor, tanginess, and savoriness. Onion rings: Get Also great as it was amazingly... CRISPY. They put a good bunch in the bag too. It's always just a good pick me up if you're craving solid wings. Again, the only bad thing about this is that it's for sure not that healthy.... but it's so worth lol. Food: 8/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Value: 10/10
