Great crepes! (The chicken/mushroom one is amazing), sandwiches are excellent as well, but the reason I write this review is the birthday cake they made for us, my 3 year old wished for a lemon one, and it was excellent! Three layers of lemon mousse with a hint of raspberry, perfectly balanced. Having grown up in Europe I often am disappointed with deserts in the US which can be too sweet and loaded with icing, but this place is spot on. I have tried their chocolate mousse cake, excellent as well! A good find.
Boiling hot Chicago day. The first bite of their ice cold fruit tart was absolute heaven. Had the Cuban sandwich, spectacular! The freshest ingredients assembled with skill. You need to go here.
Wonderful place to gather and chat with friends, to relax after a long day, or to shelter in a cold winter night, have a few sips of coffee, and enjoy a french pastry. The staff are lovely and ensure you find what you ordered quickly. It’s a pity they don’t stay open until midnight! I recommend the chocolate mousse.
Love this place. It is a great place for breakfast. I had the egg benedicts. Must say that they use really quality ham. Those potatoes are surprisingly flavorful and delicious. I was there on a lazy Christmas Eve morning. It does get busier on other days. On boxing day, I also had the very pretty and delicious Oeuf et Jambon (savory crepe stuff with ham, gruyere & swiss Cheeses, and topped with a poached egg).
Feels like Paris , smells like Paris and definitely taste like Paris . We enjoyed our macrons and coffee in the way to the bean and it was a very cool pit stop . Very clean with wide variety of deserts and all served with beautiful smile in this cozy place .
The food was fantastic. Very original french crepes, totally recommend them, and their desserts are delicious and not overly sweet. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the servers weren’t too nice and they screwed up our order. Otherwise, great place for an afternoon coffee and treat, brunch on the weekend or quick lunch during the week.
Mocha was great as well as the decor and indoor seating atmosphere. The crepes on the other hand was disappointing. We didn’t have desert but they looked really good. Hopefully next time. The building interior architecture is a hidden gem in Chicago.
Such a delightful little cafe. So French! Loved it. Had the chocolate eclair and salted caramel tart. Absolutely delicious but a little pricey. I’d go back though. It is worth the treat.
Toni Pâtisserie & Café in Chicago has the French taste for fresh baked pastries, French bread, Crêpes Suzette, sandwiches, appetizing menu entrées, a variety of beverages, and a convenient location on Washington St. Downtown Chicago. Bon appétit!
I really love this place. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is DELICIOUS specifically the Mediterranean salad (comes with the most amazing feta vinaigrette), quiche Lorraine and croque monsieur. And their oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I've ever had.
Loved the Salade Nicoise. Followed it with a slice of white chocolate mousse cake with raspberry sauce. Good food, elegant space. However, if you can avoid using the Pittsfield Building's bathroom, you're golden.
Very cute little cafe. We came in for a small dessert, the customer service was amazing, very friendly, very refreshing and helpful with recommendations. It was a very French vibe in here, and the pastry we got was delicious. Would definitely come back again.
