Stopped in while visiting Chicago with a friend. Pretty cool place. Interior is small but comfy with tables spaced well in a semi-futuristic white minimalist aesthetic. Sushi tasted great. Service was awesome---they checked on us frequently, refilled waters, asked if we needed anything. Would definitely go back!

Fantastic food! Sushi was delicious and the Yakisoba bowl was full of flavor and a great portion size. Super great atmosphere as well, cozy tucked away vibe.

Friends Sushi on Rush is a small cozy sushi restaurant. They had mirrors on the walls giving the restaurant the illusion that it is spacious which I appreciate because of how small and tight the space is in there. The sushi overall was tasty. Pricing was reasonable to me. I would recommend trying out the 23rd street roll. It was not like anything I've had before. It was so delicious that we had to order another roll before we left. The staff was very kind and attentive.

Second time visiting here (I’m from Alabama) but I think about it all the time because it’s so delish. The Firecracker app is a must have (we ordered it twice in one meal) and the Dragon Maki roll is delightful. Cocktails are always good and service is fast and kind. Love this place!!!

OG sushi spot in Chicago downtown before everyone opened. Had the best time eating off of this 1000 pound tuna fresh delivered from Japan ❤️
Highly recommend the nigiris here. Really beautiful cuts and the crispy dragon roll or soft shell crab rolls

First time here. Waited a little longer than expected at first. We had the seaweed salad and spicy tuna roll. Tuna was fresh and very spicy. Quaint place.

We enjoyed our food. The sushi roll was a good size and the Teriyaki chicken was a reasonable portion for the price. Got the "can you handle it" which was not very spicy. Little spendy. Smaller interior. Friendly efficient staff.
