Don’t skip out on this place, and definitely don’t skip out on the chicken. Whoever is making the decisions back there is doing something very right. The garlic mashed potatoes were immaculate—smooth, creamy, flavorful, and buttery. The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection, with juices oozin
I went here for dinner twice while staying next door at the hotel. Both meals were excellent in terms of quality, portions and flavor. I was staying at the hotel for the Chicago Marathon and having an Italian restaurant next door was just perfect! The staff was wonderful, making great small talk, l
New owners & new chef and oh my, amazing food! The staff is on point and the atmosphere is luxurious without feeling too stuffy. They are currently doing breakfast, lunch, and brunch on the weekends, so looking forward to seeing what this chef brings to the table once they get back to doing dinners.
This restaurant underneath the Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel Chicago Loop (there are two hotels) opened recently. The food was very good. Server knew their stuff but talked a bit too much.
Great experience. The staff was awesome. The atmosphere was perfect for date night before going to the theater. The food was exceptional. I definitely recommend pasta. It was light and delicious. Dessert stole the show.
Had simple eggs (sunny side up) and multi-grain toast for breakfast. In the 3 days I spent in Chicago this was the ONLY restaurant that offered jelly and multi-grain toast as an option. This was the BEST breakfast I had in Chicago. It reminded me of Sunday morning as a child when my parents would ma
Pretty nice Italian restaurant right next to the Cadillac Palace Theater. A little bit stuffy, older vibe. The food was good. The salmon and the halibut were perfectly cooked. Well balanced good cocktails. Didn't enjoy the wine we ordered but that's obviously not their fault. Lots of people go to di
I loved the atmosphere here it definitely had a classic vibe. The space was well lit and clean. Service was attentive and kind. I had the frittata and earl grey tea. (Total was a bit over 25 USD without tip) I felt that this price was a little bit steep for a downtown breakfast spot but you can't de
Great service, good location and an original menu for an Italian restaurant. The only problem that we encountered is that some of their dishes that were not listed as spicy very quite spicy. Other than that, a good place for a special dinner, very close to most theaters that are downtown.
Not bad at all! Food was delicious, service was great. It was a gorgeous day to take a stroll and stop for Lunch!! The decor is such a vibe. Love that!
I really enjoyed my main dinner here. The appetizer was average but the entree blew my socks off. I had the Linguini Nere which is Squid Ink pasta with scallops and shrimp. The sauce was creamy without being overly fishy. Delish! The kids menu was overpriced for what they got and neither items were
Dubbed the most romantic restaurant in Chicago. Amazing service by an Italian staff. We were served by Marko, who had a good sense of humor. I had my drink paid for because it was my graduation day. Highly recommended if you can afford it.
Good Italian downtown. Not cheap, but the quality of the dishes is definitely above average. Squash tortellini and calamari were very good. Service is decent, they took away my salad before I had a chance to finish.
Omg the absolute most incredible Italian food !!! Great food, great prices and great service
Very good and fresh with a seasonal menu. Salmon had a beautiful crust and asparagus puree was delicious. Lasagna was average. Flourless chocolate cake was very good.Noice level was a bit loud. Perfect for a pre-theater meal.
Five stars for excellent service! I'm surprised anyone had a bad service experience there. The missing star is actually for the food. Everyone we encountered was on their A game, and I'm one who appreciates stellar service. We were there at 1pm on Tuesday, December 24th, before Phantom of the Opera.
