After a very turbulent flight from Miami, it was great to get to Chicago and have this restaurant nearby, very well located, easy access. We did not have a reservation but the staff only gave us a table, the waiter was very friendly, talkative and with an excellent spirit of serving. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere, very cool. If you are meat lovers like me, I recommend the New York, it is a delight to the palate. The entries are very well made. Nothing bad to say about this site. Everything was great. Visit it.
We were there two weeks ago on Memorial Day, the food is great, atmosphere is awesome with great ambience music. Our waiter is very professional and nice to us.
Probably the Bruschetta and Tiramisu are my favorite there. :) will come back again.
A friend recommended this restaurant purely based on their Panna cotta dessert. I was happy to discovered that the rest of the menu is SUBLIME!!
The frito Misto apperizer was unbelievable! We has the arancini - fried rice balls - that were the best I have ever had. I will come back to Acanto just for that dish!!
I had the Rigatoni that was delicious and my dining companion had the veal Milanese. We, of course, ended our meal by ordering the Panna Cotta. It was, as my friend described, one of the best desserts I have ever eaten.
The hostess was very engaging and friendly as well as the rest of the waiting staff.
Highly recommend! If this is your first visit to Chicago this restaurant is a must if you love Italian food.
It is right across Millenium Park and not fat from the Magnificent Mile. Reservations are a must as those in the know come here often!
Good atmosphere and food. I ordered pesto pizza instead of tomato sauce. They made it and it was delicious.
One of the best meals ever anywhere! The atmosphere and our waiter were exceptional! He guided us to a perfect wine, to delightful dishes! Go!
Starting this review with Tiramisu ✨ it was the best!!!!
La Madonna was the cocktail which was appealing to the eyes but the alcohol content was too less!!!
We tried Ravioli and it was good!
Also the Margarita pizza and mushroom pizza were good! The base was really fresh and soft.
Ambiance was good too!
Enjoyed a fabulous lunch w 10 friends at Acanto on 1/13 for birthday celebration. Alex greeted us warmly & he & the team were gracious in responding to my request to rearrange tables in a square format so everyone could see each other & engage more fully. We were thrilled w the setup.
Food was delicious, everyone ordered soups, salads, a few entrees and a few deserts. Everything was excellent! He recommended an excellent sparkling rose champagne which we all enjoyed. The restaurant was comfortable & warm, service was outstanding. Highly recommend!
