Bavette's Bar & Boeuf - Chicago - Photo album

This is a fabulous, moody steak place with amazing side dishes, so the food is great! But for me it was about the drinks and the vibe! As I enjoyed my perfectly made dirty martini, it felt like at any moment some cool, jazzy singer would sashay up to a mike and do a set. I loved the velvet booths, l
We waited 3 hours to get in. Please make a reservation 21 days before your visit to avoid such a long wait. The wagyu steaks are exquisitely good, but not worth the 3 hour wait. Porterhouse was ordered medium rare but came out as rare. Would go back for a special occasion and for a wonderful steak.
This is an excellent steakhouse in Chicago. Everything about it from the reception at the door and walking into the main dining room. The design, vibe, mood, music and lighting was on point. It set the tone and created the ambiance of what what turned out to be a wonderful dinner experience. The

The dining room upstairs looked like an equally memorable location. Steak was among the best I ever had. Homemade sourdough nearly perfect, sid
What a treat to dine & drink here. The ambiance is so incredibly gorgeous. Such a diverse clientele and casual Dress code for such a divine experience. I would absolutely come back. Their New York steak (medium rare of course!) & Brussels side were mind blowing. I had my first chocolate martini (&
