Penny's Dinner

In the past 2 days I have eaten here twice. Food is great. Service attentive. The cook Kirk should be called Captain Kirk because he really took charge. A rush came in and the staff were a blur of action. The atmosphere is fun and music subdued. Definitely a place with life in it. The portions are big the prices are reasonable. I will definitely stop bachk in next time I'm in town. Check them out its worth it.

I love this diner and love the food and the atmosphere, but the last 2 times I have been there the male chef/server has been extremely rude to me. I believe his name is Steven. He has made comments about us being on our phone, even if it is looking at the virtual menu, and when we ask about the menu he does not give any information and only responds with irritation. When we asked how his night was going to be friendly he said, “Excuse me? Are you trying to make me have a bad night?” The first time I experienced his rude behavior I figured he was having a bad day and didn’t comment on it, but now being here again and him being even more impolite is unbelievable. I have never had worse service in my life. Very upset because I love this restaurant but don’t like being treated poorly.
