I was at Lia's yesterday and partook in Happy Hour on a SUNDAY - can't get any better than that. Lia''s is Owned/Run By the Chef Geoff Restaurants in the area.
I sat the bar and Tim was the Bartender. I ordered a hamburger with fries and my friend ordered the lamb burger with salad. For desert we had sorbet, mango, guava and coconut. They were good but not rich in flavor like some sorbet is. For the meal is was about $24 which isn't bad and the amount of food was MORE than enough.
They have a really good happy hour that includes drinks, although we didn't have any alcohol. I have been for drinks in the past. Maybe next time I visit.

Overall: 4.75. One of my fav restaurants in Chevy Chase. Lia’s consistently excels in delivering epicurean “magic”. Savory & delicious appetizers (Risotto Balls & Brussels Sprouts), salads & entrees (Chicken Parm with house made spaghetti)🍝. Impeccable service. Recently remodeled interior. Large patio area (and pet-friendly) with separate bar area, dining room & private dining area. Great for special occasions (e.g., birthdays, special events, anniversaries, etc.). Private dining area that can be reserved. Note: It gets noisy at full capacity. Strongly recommend making reservations for dinner.

Lia's was excellent. Came for brunch and it did not disappoint! Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and we never had to wait for anything. Definitely worth trying it out for good food and atmosphere. We sat inside because it was rainy, but the patio looks nice as well.

Came here for brunch on restaurant week with some family and it was amazing. We had Hanna and she was kind and helpful! She knew the menu well and was a pleasure to eat with. The food was so good and the tiramisu was amazing! Coming back very soon!

The food and service was phenomenal! Hanna was a very excellent waitress. The items she recommended exceeded expectations. This is a very good place to come to for a date night or with family and friends. A must go restaurant if you are in the DMV area.

We tried Lia's for the DC Metropolitan Restaurant Week. They have a great 3-course menu for the Week, with a ton of options! At $40/person it is a little more expensive than some places that participate in Restaurant Week, but plenty worth it. The one thing that could have been improved was the service - there were just too many people out on the patio for the one or two servers. We found it necessary to follow-up with ours once or twice. But the food was great and we'll definitely be back!

This is a gem! The service by the entire staff was incredible. Theresa sat us and helped us in the beginning, she was super nice and had great recommendations and info about the menu. The fig and prosciutto appetizer is a must! The hand made pastas are awesome. Will definitely be back.

I came with a group of 12 for dinner on the terrace last night and we all enjoyed Lia’s to the fullest. Service was impeccable, ordering for the group was made simple, and the food and drink came quickly. Everybody loved the octopus starter and arugula salads, and the raviolis were also a big hit.
