Guido Pizza Haven & Restaurant

I recently had lunch at Guido's Pizza Haven and Restaurant. Guido's is on the east side of Chillicothe Road in Chesterland, OH, south of the intersection of Chillicothe Road/state route 306 and Mayfield Road/US 322. There is plenty of free off-street parking at Guido's Pizza Haven and Restaurant. Guido's Pizza Haven and Restaurant is cash only - no credit cards. The dining room is nicely decorated with high ceilings and large windows along the north wall. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Karen is my server during my visit. This is my first visit to Guido's, Karen is very helpful in answering my questions about menu items. Karen did not hover during my meal but she made sure I had what I needed in a timely manner. The lunch crowd consisted of some folks having a business lunch and others having lunch with a spouse or a friend. Some folks came in for take-away orders. I started with a cup of Italian Wedding Soup. The soup is loaded with vegetables and had a few mini-sausage meatballs too. YUMMY! I enjoyed an unsweetened ice tea with my meal. Along with the soup, I enjoyed an order of garlic bread with cheese. They butterfly three of their dinner rolls and top with garlic. Cheese is extra cost. The melted cheese adds a nice texture and taste to the garlic bread. My entree is a small sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onion pizza. The pizza sauce is mild with an abundance of cheese topping. The cheese is nice and stringy when you separate the pieces of pizza. The slices are cut into nine rectangular slices. The pizza is served in a rectangular shape versus a pie shape. The pizza tastes good and has plenty of toppings - no skimping with the toppings at Guido's. I like to cut my pizza slice into bite size pieces with a knife and fork. During the cutting process, the toppings tend to slide off the crust. I sincerely enjoyed the service and the taste of my food at Guido's Pizza Haven and Restaurant. The restaurant and the Men's room are clean. In mid-May, 2022, the staff do not wear face masks.

We had a salad and a large pizza with egg plant black olives and sausage. All quality ingredients. Excellent cheese and plenty of it. I enjoyed the cheese on top of the toppings. Sause was very mild. The dough and eventual crust had a great taste and was cooked perfectly. Bring cash no cards.

Excellent!!! The service was superb. Friendly, helpful and in a very timely manner. The food was amazing. The fettuccine Alfredo was so flavorful and my husband had the chicken parmigiana and stated the sauce was some of the best he has had. We will definitely be back!!!

First time at Guido's and we will definitely be back. Everyone was so nice, the server was very attentive. Most of all, the food was amazing. The Chicken parm is like nothing you have ever had before. Outstanding presentation and the flavor matched it. Its nice you can order a full or half serving. Full serving will feed 2 people. Soooo good. It is cash only, but they do have a ATM machine if needed.
