Wendy's

Confusing, frustrating and gross! I saw this sign posted on their front window. It looks to me (and everyone else I've shown it to) that $4 buys you four of the sandwiches pictured. I ordered 8 JBCs for my kids with some other food and the total was higher than expected. I told the cashier that I wanted what the sign says but she said it's for a combo deal. ??? Apparently, instead of four sandwiches you get one sandwich, nuggets, fries and a drink. ??? Where does it say that? She got the shift manager (Ryan) who looked unkempt with a gross beard and no hairnet. Maybe we found the source of the hairball a previous reviewer found in their fries? He was condescending and acted as if everyone should know the sign is advertising a combo. I went ahead and paid and went back to the sign to see if I missed some fine print. Nope. I took the picture and went back around to show Ryan. In the meantime, my kids started eating and found most of the food was cold. He argued with me again and said he wouldn't honor what their sign clearly states. He said I could give the food back for a refund or be on my way. I opted for the refund and went down the street to Steak n Shake. We got more food which was actually hot and, of course, MUCH better for just $3 more. LOL! Never going back to Wendy's.
