We've visited here several times through the years and it's always been a good experience. On a recent ski trip, my daughter and I visited again, and the experience was exceptional. Our waitress Kelly made us feel right at home despite it being a very busy morning. The food was outstanding (homemade hash and eggs for me and pancake, eggs and sausage for my daughter) and the prices were very reasonable. The charm, authenticity and cleanliness of the vintage Silk City diner add to the enjoyment. Thank you Country Girl Diner for being such a positive part of our day.
What a delightful breakfast! We visited twice and enjoyed booth seating at this restored manufactured diner, where the walls featured rock legends autographed photos. It was charming and cozy with an upbeat, friendly staff. I had the Bromley burrito (pictured) and a cup of strong coffee (our server, Kelly, was good about keeping the mug filled.) My husband enjoyed the specials. One trip it was Popeye fries special with eggs over easy and the second visit he enjoyed the Country Girl quesadilla special. (pictured) All meals were delicious and servings generous. Prices were reasonable, too, with two breakfast orders and a coffee ringing up just under $20 before tax and tip. We will certainly be returning.
Food was good - they Sweet Potato fries was done perfectly and the honey mustard pared well with it. The dessert was fresh and hit the sweet spot - we were impressed at how good it was - not too sweet but very delicious. Very small diner but it’s a must stop if you are in the area and hungry. Limited menu but what’s there is sure to please anyone hungry. The servers were super friendly.
