One of those places where you get a glimpse into the owners personality the moment you walk in the door. Some old world charm mixed with the warmth of sitting in grandma's kitchen while sipping a hot cup of tea. Great spot for a quick bite to eat. It is cash only so be prepared. Worth checking out.
Ok so we just finished Patriots Trail and decided to stop for some lunch. It is true what is told the establishment is quaint. The waitress was sweet and the owner was signing to Rocky Mountain High.....love it! Now the food my assumption is from the photos the 5* are based on breakfast and that's understandable. Our lunch was good we had a turkey club no bacon and cheeseburger. I also ordered a blt to go. The food was nice but we ordered chicken soup ( no chicken and cold) I'd skip the soup. We would like to try the breakfast one day all in all a nice experience. Price point in NJ is what makes it favorable.
Hungry for breakfast and was looking for something new. Found this tiny sweet spot on the road. Parking lot was full so it gave me some peace of mind. It is a tiny hole in the wall with about 6 tables and counter service.place was full on this visit. Had pancakes and eggs and second plate is scrambled eggs with bacon and fruit. All was good. Service was simple and fine. It's a repeat, will do again.
