A local treasure. Hands down best sandwiches in Chester County. Try the "Monsignor" and the "St. Liz" or my fave the "Action Jackson". Buy a sandwich and enjoy if out front!

South Philly in the Burbs!. Montesano Brothers is outstanding in every way!! Their food is fresh and delicious - there is nothing better out in Chester County in terms of an Italian Market. I've used them for catering for a party of 100 (everyone raved about the food!), I've purchased prepared meals for my family as well as sandwiches on the go. The staff is friendly and very accomodating and again, I can't say enough about the food! I would highly recommend Montesano Brothers for everything from take out to catering! I'm so glad they brought a little bit of South Philly to the burbs!
Most Amazing Deli I've Ever Been to!. Family owned , great environment. This isnt a corner deli that you just pick up your meats from. They have amazing sandwiches, cakes, brownies, you name it! Friendly Staff, outside eating area as well as inside. They have a piano indoors and guests sing along while finishing up their meals. They make you feel like you're in the home you've always wanted while eating the best food ever. Amazing!
Very good food, possibly the best deli/market in Exton/downingtown/Chester springs. We had them cater a party as well, and all of the food was a hit.
This is one of the best, most friendly places in the area. Food is awesome and made with lots of character. They have local beer, which is a nice benefit when you're looking for a refreshing beverage. Outside seating area is super inviting.
Our first time here was this past Sunday, and we came back this Friday, so that should tell you all you need to know… BUT let me tell you more.

We ordered catering for my daughters party and it was incredible!! Our guests were complimenting the food the entire day and the portions were huge. This was our first time ordering and Vinny Montesano was extremely friendly, responsive, and even came out to my in laws who were picking up the food to thank them for our business and just say hello! Blown away by not only their food but the friendly service as well. Our new go-to spot for catering!
Hands down the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life! Vinny, Priscilla, and the whole crew are amazing and could not be more accommodating and pleasant! I am a business owner and actually closed up shop to go get this sandwich today! Well worth it!
One of the best casual restaurants in the area. Tons of character with a diverse sandwich menu.
Takeout service is also quick, even during the lunch/dinner rushes., There is a great outdoor eating area as well, with live music weekly during the summer. Definitely check them out if you're in the Marsh Creek Area.
Friendly and attentive staff. Very good sandwiches; my favorite is the sweet Italian sausage. The sidewinder fries are the best I've had anywhere. They offer basil pesto mayo on the side of the fries, which is an interestingly delicious combination.
My wife hired Montesano for catering and the food was fantastic. The braised short ribs in red wine sauce was out of this world. Vinnie was very friendly, helpful, and they accommodated some gluten allergies easily. Overall it was a great experience.
The food is always good here!! I'm super bummed they changed the menu and the paninis are gone but the chicken pesto I liked on panini bread is now on a brioche and still very good. You have to get the fries with the pesto dip, delicious! They made a slight mistake on my order but no biggie (asked for no peppers). They have some indoor seating as well as plenty of outdoor.
