My absolute favorite coffee house...they have gluten free options....so comfy too. I've been coming here for many many years!!
Great little place!. We've been coming here regularly for nearly 11 years now, and love the place. Yes, parking is tight, but Main St. rents spaces at the adjacent (closed) gas station. As for the complaint that it's not a place to study: no, this is a café; the library is right down the street and light food and beverages are allowed in the study area there. If you're looking for a place to have a light meal with staff who knows the regulars by first name, this is the place to go.
Closest thing to Australian quality coffee I've found in the US. Good food, great people.
BEST EVER for breakfast & lunch. I love this place!!! I've had lunch or breakfast here a ton of times, and I recommend it to others often too. The best spot in town, hands down!
I loved it when they were across the street, and since they merged with Greenwich Coffee, its even better.
The menu is full of tasty options that are also health conscious and the prices are totally reasonable. Desserts and drinks are great. My favorites are the yogurt parfait, french toast bagel with egg whites, garden burger, italian chicken wrap w pesto, and cold chai drinks. They also have an awesome pumpkin soup in the cold months.
The atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying quiet time alone. Everyone is friendly. There are a ton of beautiful items to enjoy or purchase from local artists. Like I said, its one of my favorites places to be.
You gotta go here!. Lovely, charming and the best lunch in town! I eat ther often, this cafe has the freshest ingredients and creative menu around. Owner is always on site, the place is spotless and offers qualitly food.

Main Street Caffe - where everyone knows your name. Simply put... this is the best gathering spot and cafe in Cheshire. Like many others in town, we frequent Main St Caffe 5-6 times a week for everything ranging from a cup of coffee to an evening meal.
The owners deserve kudos for their ability to create a culinary oasis in Cheshire. They offer an appealing, very creatively designed yet reasonably priced menu featuring bagels, salads, sandwiches, wraps, soups, and their signature weekly specials for both lunch fare and gourmet coffee.
While the food is exceptional, I must add that the real allure to Main Street Caffe is the general hospitality and courtesy that the staff afford those who visit the Caffe. In the 300+ times we have been at the Caffe - both at its original location and now at the new one on W. Main Street - we have NEVER had a negative experience. The owners have a very high standard on their quality of service ... they are dedicated to ensuring that everyone visiting the Caffe leaves with a positive approach to the rest of their day.
We love the Main Street Caffe... I highly recommend it to those looking for a true taste of Cheshire! But one warning... come early so you can get a parking space!
