There is a reason Carel invented the soft serve and ice cream cakes because their stuff is fantastic! It's not ice cream, it's soft serve custards and they have great flavors! The cookie batter with Carmel on top was very delicious! I had classic chocolate with hot fudge on top.

We just came to this place, it’s tucked in a corner where we missed it for a while. The place is clean, comfortable, large ice cream selection. We came on Sunday just before noon, and nobody else was here. We had scoop ice creams and they were wonderful. Staff was friendly. We will definitely be coming back :)
Edit: I just read a bunch of the other reviews, and so many are basically “place is wonderful!” and then they give 4 stars. I don’t get it
Edit2: we’ve come back maybe 10 times now, and ordered a cake for a birthday. 10/10, will continue to visit

Traditional soft serve done to perfection. I don't get to enjoy this tasty treat as often as I would like but Carvel is my #1 stop when I have the opportunity. Reasonable prices and a friendly staff that is always waiting to provide the best possible service.

The price is soooooo good. Huge selection of ice cream. And so many sizes. My #1 ice cream shop place. All of the ladies are so nice and always in a good mood!! Keep doing what your doing!!!!

Visited THIS store to buy a gift card and they had no problem accepting my credit card for payment and not charging me sales tax... unlike the store in VA Beach.
The facility was clean, well stocked, and the associate working the calendar was friendly and accommodating.

Got a shake & it was the worst shake ever. All milk, no cookies & cream at all. Tried a bunch of samples & unfortunately didn't like any of them. Too much caramel or cookie dough or strawberries and just not enough ice cream. I was disappointed that I left here feeling like I didn't have any yummy ice cream.

Great place to take family. Staff are friendly and courteous. Reasonably priced, good size portions and great tasting ice cream and shakes.
