Duck Donuts

From my daughter: “I announce this Duck Donuts donut a solid 8/10. This donut was generously and evenly coated in cinnamon sugar. Additionally, it had a nice dallop of peaches and cream on the top if it. Despite being an uncommon combination for a donut, it was most definitely delicious. The sweet taste of the cinnamon sugar was balanced out with the refreshing peaches and cream on the top, which is ultimately a good thing, for overly sweet donuts are far too bold for my liking. Furthermore, the texture of the donut was absolutely superb. The outside was firm enough to hold without having to fret about it collapsing in your hands like a badly made Sloppy Joe sandwich. The middle of the donut was soft to the touch, allowing the chewing of the donut to be easy and smooth. However, despite the mouthwatering, finger-licking aspects of this wonderful donut, it was rather messy. The coating of the brown sugar would get stuck to my lips and fingertips, which caused discomfort after each bite. Moreover, the peaches and cream on top of the donut fell off every now and then after biting into it, which caused me to have to pick it up with my already messy cinnamon sugar coated fingertips. The untidiness is what drops ranking from a 10/10 to an 8/10; however, it was not enough to say it was a donut that I did not enjoy. Overall, ‘twas a lovely donut. I would in fact eat again and recommend.”

Always a pleasure when I go to Duck Donuts. The lady at the cashier was so friendly she made for a great experience. Went simple with my donut choices but they were delicious. I got Blueberry and Cinnamon sugar. You can customize your donuts, so go crazy if you want! You can even top them off with bacon. Don’t be shy. There were a lot of people standing in line when I walked in but I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Located off of a busy highway so make sure you don’t miss the turn. I’m sure I’ll be back there within the next week to cure my sweet tooth.

I love Duck Donuts. This is my first time ordering at this location. They had more special donut combinations so this time I got the maple bacon, blueberry pancake, and cinnamon bun. I loved all the donuts. I had only had the maple bacon before. My husband and I really enjoyed the blueberry pancake. We love blueberry muffins but this blueberry pancake donut was so much better than a blueberry muffin. OMG. Great service. Friendly.
