Wow there is nothing I don't like about this food! Granted no "atmosphere" but good decent Italian food!! The mixed grill was awesome and the pasta great!!!
Visiting Boston after a week long cruise on Holland America we were worried about finding a place to eat that would compare to cruise fare. Floramo's was a delightful surprise and we highly recommend it. Very reasonable prices and portion sizes that are sure to feed you for lunch the next day make this stop a favorite.
I love Floramo's! I get the same dish every time and I've never been disappointed. The steak tips are Amazing! I get a side of angel hair pasta with marinara, yum. Okay- the side salad could use some work. It's boring with one cherry tomato, iceberg lettuce and raw white onions. And the wine selection isn't the greatest. But I look forward to the steak tips every trip I take to Boston.
Outstanding food and plenty for the price, I will be back.
Big Portions, Little Price. The advertising line is "Where the meat falls off the bone" and they do not lie. What I found was big heaping plates of everything. The burgers at lunchtime was a little undercooked for my liking and the fries were decent cut. The waiters are very friendly and the dinning area is somewhat dim and a little clean. The soups and appetizers are really good. But the plates of Italian food was so good but the plates where simply huge. So big, I had to take some of my dinner home and that is unusual.
Very good experience, the place is welcoming and clean, the staff is incredibly friendly (big shout out to Denis!) and the foods was very nice too. The menu is varied and the portions are very generous, maybe a bit too much, but there is always the option to take the leftovers homes which was appreciated. Would happily come back!
I'm from out of town and luckily ran into this gem. Plain on the outside but the moment you walk in, the aromas are intriguing. Peaking your hungry instantly. Simple menu. My server was Simon. Thoughtful, punctual, observant and great at minor small talk in between duties. I started with clam crowder. Hearty amount of seafood, no grit/sand and the prefect consistancy served piping hot. The main dish of stuffed shrimp was brought out after i finished my soup. This was on purpose. Very intelligent as i so not want to eat cold food or soup. The stuffed shrimp were cooked perfectly. Moist on the inside and a perfect slight crisp on the outside. The mashed potatoes are homemade and the gravy as well. You can tell there in love in this kitchen and this owner. Everyone seems to take pride in their job here. I couldn't recommend this place more. Ask for Simon.
Traveling for work with a crew and this has been a staple for us. The steak tips are said to be the best in greater Boston and they weren’t lying. We’ve had several different servers who pretty much all were great in all aspects. Good draft beer selection and the BBQ side of the menu is great.
Excellent local BBQ & Italian joint that has a killer steak tips wrap. Highly recommend.
Went to dinner with friends. Mine and another was very good. I had the mixed grill. however, my other friend was served cold food. Portion sizes were very good. I have enough to eat for every days. Could have had a more consistent cook.
Wonderful experience; outstanding grub and genuine hospitality from staff who made me feel welcome and valued. Called in for takeout on the phone and was worried someone might give me some random attitude and now feel stupid for feeling that way. Inclusive, familiar vibe and a delicious dinner for a very reasonable price. Large portions. If you're staying at one of the hotels that borders this establishment, you really owe it to yourself to check it out. Old school Italian-American BBQ and bar food (but no pizza) that I'd recommend to anyone
