I used to love Subway but the cost cutting has gotten too obvious. The cheese bread barely has any cheese anymore. The cheese slices seem to be getting smaller and lack flavor. The meat seems thinner and you end up needing to double the meat just be sure there is enough to notice. I'd rather pay more to eat somewhere that still knows how a sandwich should be.

Driving through town, found a nice room for the night overlooking the lake and hey Subway just steps away. Just returned, empty handed. I walked in the door, young man loojed at me snd asked Subway? I said yes. With a flourish he declared Closed! He actually threw a wet rag across the room while making that statement. Very disappointing.

When we went in there last text the sodaachone was broken. They were out of nearly every cheese. Ran out of meatballs. The lady in front of me actually asked if the store was closing. The employee was friendly.

Sandwich wasn't even wrapped, cut in half plus it fell apart when I opened the bag.
