Lakeview Drive In

A few friends and I were hungry so we decided to order online, after putting everything in we checked our order and saw that it was missing things, but charging us for them anyways so we had to restart. Most of us got cheeseburgers, because how can a place badly make a cheeseburger? Well apparently, this place can. Instead of a regular cheeseburger with… a patty and cheese, these had lettuce, onion, some sort of sauce. You couldn’t remove the lettuce or onions because it was chopped up small and on top of the sauce, even if you could it wouldn’t make a difference because the sheer amount of sauce added was comical. The bottom burger bun was soggy by the time we got back to our house (>10 min) so there really wasn’t anything to do to make this better, and now not only am I still hungry but I’m annoyed. Only reason I’m not giving one star is because the fries were fine.

Horrible customer service! and cashiers lack basic math skills. I had never been so unsatisfied and disappointed in the way they treated me this last weekend. I placed an order of 3 small milkshakes when there was no line. My receipt said 5 pm on the dot. I went to wait by my car but keeping an ear out for when they would call my number, I noticed like 6 people order right after I did and so still patiently waited, I eventually made my way to the back were the pick up window was, PATIENTLY waited some more and by patiently I mean I waited and watched while all the other customers who ordered after me got what they had ordered, including food and drinks. Not once did anyone try to reassure me my order was coming and when I went to ask about my order they just said okay and closed the window on me and still waited some more ! My fiance was so upset by the way I was being treated even the customers witnessed and were saying how unfair it was. We wanted our money back. We had already patiently waited and was nice and the girl working there as the manager or supervisor whatever she is clearly needs training in customer service skills, she gave my fiancé the money back but only until he had to get upset and ask for our money back. She had a NASTY attitude and even told him he had to be nice or she wasn’t going to give us our order, at this point we don’t want anything but our money back. And just to let you know slamming the sliding window and making a scene in front of other paying customers isn’t going to do anything except break the window, and drive customers away because of how you treated us. Never again will I stop by this drive in, and I will make sure anybody I know doesn’t ever go unless they want to be treated like GARBAGE for absolute no reason.

Burgers are thin but still incredibly full of grease I’m guessing they’re using the highest fat content ground beef they can buy. The people at the pick up window particularly a lady with short hair and reddish lipstick weren’t very inviting or polite they also announced our order number but gave us someone else’s food which we had to dig in the bag to discover it wasn’t ours causing the lady who did order that food to have to wait for them to completely remake her order. Our order was mediocre soda tasted like water…probably won’t be going back but I did see it pretty busy so I’m sure there’s others who like it. The view was the best part for me.

Took over 30 minutes to order with only 10 people in line. Then another 30 after they forgot my order. Probably won't go back for a while after that. But they did give a me a large shake but that was only cause they had it pre made. In all over a. Hour for 1 burger and shake... not worth it. Food was good, great viewed fun tradition though.
