Taco Del Mar

Horrible experience. Manager just rushed us along and was super rude... We were just trying to give her business.... Made a HUGE DEAL about having to get us sliced lime after folding our burrito before we were done adding to it. The best part is she was training a new employee, good leaders set good examples and you ma'm are not one of those. The manager is the one who needs training.

Just always rude. I LOVE TDM but this is the worst location I've ever been too. All employees seem really angry and they always seem to short us on something. They forget guacamole that comes on an item or they charge for an item but don't give it to you. I'm done giving them a shot, going elsewhere from now on. I've seen them literally yell at customers and I've experienced their negatively numerous times now.

Updated: 10/17/21 This place continues to have The best burritos in the area. Mondo is the way to go. Many choices of ingredients. Build the mondo the way you want it. Make it a burrito or make it a meal. Want something lighter, their fish tacos are great. The store and restrooms were clean. The staff was Friendly and helpful. Try the green wraps, they are my favorite.

I did rate them much higher. Never had a bad experience, but ordered 2 hrs before closing and not only was the order wrong, neither burrito was wrapped completely leaving both ends exposed and fell apart when we tried to put them on plates. Very disappointed in whoever worked this evening. Sad when one or two lazy workers end up giving the whole place a bad name

6-3-2022: update! They let her go! Rejoice all TDM loyalists. We took a chance and went in. We saw no black and white jolopy. We met the owner, super nice. Safe to go back! The food was hot and tasty and the customer service was a totally different story. We will go back! Arriving to a group of teens loitering out front should've been the first red flag. One of them clearly an employee, entertaining a gaggle of vapping-male admirers gathered around the front door. . She was so annoyed we interuppted their little get together she couldn't even muster a hello. I got a wet burrito! The burrito was filled with rice that was not cooked and hard as a rock. The burrito was cold inside. So disappointing I tossed 3/4 of it. My Husband ordered a taco/enchilada plate, she looked baffled by the ingredients that went into a taco, after asking if he wanted lettuce, tomato..etc..she rolled it shut. So weird!! I asked her if (pointing to mystery meat) was carnitas..she said "no it's pork" hmmm..ok. When the other girl from out front came into assist with a few more people that walked in, we noticed them snickering and remarking to each other about us. They didn't greet anyone with a hello or thank you. Total waste of $25-will not be back. 5/25/22 Decided to go back, give it another try. Walking in there is nobody up front. We patiently wait for someone to acknowledge that we were there. After a couple minutes we observe this half black half white sloppy jelopy civic roll up. Two greasy young guys park and proceed to haul in two giant coffee shop drinks...head straight to the back and disappear. These guys clearly do not work here, they are here here for the sole purpose of loitering with the females that DO work here. Once the guys were back there they must of told green hair to check the front. This nasty young lady comes out, same one as before...artificially colored hair and a horrid look on her face. She comes out, CLEARLY annoyed and said..."what can I get you" it was so obvious that we were interrupting her little date with the criss cross brothers. Ugh...this girl has bad reviews up and down Google and Facebook yet they still have her in there. She was so incredibly rude and inconvenienced- we just left. I would like to mention that's it's a health code violation to have these clown guys back in the food prep area. They have absolutely no business being there. Let alone consuming personal food or drinks from outside. I will be forwarding this review to corporate and the department of health. This girl needs to move along...maybe find a nice job at a factory with machinery NOT people!
