El Sabor De Mexico

Every time we passed this place we saw nobody in there and thought this place must not be that good. Then my daughter and I had a mother/daughter weekend and she wanted Mexican food. Being from California where it's on every corner we have had a hard time finding good Mexican food. We Yelped this place and it had good reviews so we tried it. YUM!!!! Chips and Salsa great! Salsa is spicy if you can't handle heat. I asked for a side of guacamole for my daughter because she couldn't handle it. My daughter got the Menudo she loved it. Said it was almost as good as my dads was ❤. I got the nachos fries with carne asada, very good! Next time I am going to get the flautas. We did have to ask for refills of things, but when we got there there was only 1 family. We arrived and like 3 to 4 other families came in and got very busy. The food took a bit, but it was VERY fresh like it was cooked from scratch so I can see why. Overall we enjoyed it VERY much. Our server did check on us often after we got our food. We paid and my daughter asked me if we could leave a tip. We definitely want to take my boyfriend back to have him try it. He LOVES his Mexican food. Hence one of the reasons why he's with me LOL. Highly recommended!

The food was mid at best the person taking my order didn't have a strong understanding of english and when I asked if it came with rice and beans she said yes. Food for volume was really poor and the service was poor and you could see the food prep guy in the back handling raw chicken and not being mindful of cross contamination. Just go to casa ramos where it's a better price for better food.

I went to this place wanting an order of 4 tacos. The lady told me she couldn’t sell me 4, it had to be 3 or 6. I think this is ridiculous, I didn’t want 3 or 6. I just wanted 4. I ended up buying 6 tacos and got charged $22.00 dollars, way over priced! The meat quality was terrible and the tortillas were so thick and cold! I suggest to change your ways on how you sell tacos.

The rice and beans are really good, salsa red is somewhat lacking in heat... carnitas were tender and juicy but not very much flavor, the tortillas were very soft and almost soggy. Be warned... a taco, rice and bean combo will now cost you 18.00 USD. EIGHTEEN DOLLARS for 3 tacos and some rice and beans. Thanks Biden...
