My 6mo old husky spend 3 weeks with Kelsi at Valor. She went beyond my expectations, despite dealing with "husky" attitude, and a stubborn set in his ways pup. When he came home, he was a new puppy. The improvements I saw were immediate. Our time spent transferring Loki back over to me and preparing him for being back home went great. I told Kelsi my main concerns/goals. She put her focus on these and Loki came a long way. I was and am highly impressed with the time and efforts she put into LOKI. For anyone debating this program for their puppy I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Invest in your puppy, you won't regret it!
We completed 6 private lessons with trainer Kelsi for our 1yr old Husky, Addilynn. She had lots of excited energy, and Kelsi showed us how to better communicate with her. She even helped us find new ways to exercise and manage her in our everyday life. She was very kind, patient, and a wonderful teacher. She welcomed and answered all my questions, and was even available to answer them outside of lessons. We can now go to pet stores, go on walks and even go downtown with all kinds of distractions without feeling uneasy. I would highly recommend ValorK9, as now have the knowledge and tools to continue our training further. I couldn’t be more thankful!
Our golden girl puppies had ten lessons with Brenley Merritt and they are so well behaved now! Brenley was flexible with our schedules and patient with both pups and parents. She consistently checked in with us on our progress at home and always made a board for us of what we’ve done and what we need to be working on; which I absolutely loved and still use! She showed us the strengths and weaknesses of each pup and really helped us to get them both on the same level while appreciating their individual personalities. Travis and I LOVED this experience and learned so much! We cannot say enough good things about Brenley and Valor K9 Academy and we will be recommending them to absolutely everyone with a dog!
I highly recommend Valor K9. My dog Layla was over a year old and still having some issues with leash walking and following commands. I contacted Valor and they introduced us to Brenley. I could not have asked for a more patient trainer for us. We completed eight once per week sessions and the results are wonderful. I am now confident taking her for walks and to the store. She behaves so much better. I can't thank Brenley and Valor K9 enough!
We have a golden retriever who wasn’t the most confident but was VERY excited about life. We worked with Kelsi for 6 weeks of private lessons. She was the best!! Murphy is more confident and so much better behaved on walks and in public. He is on his way to being a therapy dog now that we worked with Kelsi! She taught us humans how to communicate with Murphy more clearly, and we have continued his training on our own. Kelsi gave us the skill set to do that! 10/10!
My 16 month old puppy has trained with Kelsi Long, once for a 6, once a week training session and just recently for a week long session to help my dog work on some of his anxiety issues he has. He has made excellent progress and all I get from people who meet him is how great of a dog he is. This is all thanks to Kelsi and her training regimen. She was always available and most helpful when I had questions. I will continue to use her in my quest to get my dog to become a Therapy dog. There is no one better.
We had a great Private Lessons experience with Valor K9. Remy, our shepherd mix puppy is a big, high energy dog. Kelsi was his trainer and he responded very well to her training and instruction. We had absolute trust in Kelsi and I would highly recommend her to everyone.
We also used Valor for Stay and Play service when we went on vacation. Brenley watched Remy for us. Remy had so much fun playing with Brenley and her other dogs. It was a great experience for him. We will definitely use Valor K9 again.
Our cavapoo spent two weeks with trainer Brenley, who couldn’t have been more amazing. She really gets to know each dog like it’s her own and gave us invaluable insights about our dog’s personality and motivations. Not only did she do a fantastic job training our puppy but she also made it so easy for us to continue to reinforce the training at home. We’re so thankful for her expertise, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to make training our puppy such a positive experience.
