Baskin-robbins

What can you really say about ice cream? It's delicious. That's what Baskin-Robbins does: delicious ice cream. They have a pretty amazing variety of flavors and ways to eat it. Their kids choices are adorable, little cups featuring animals with sprinkles and even a little paper hat (much like the old Burger King crowns). The service was acceptable and courteous. I must admit the two people behind the counter on this visit were soft spoken and not very energetic, but that doesn't detract much from the overall experience. If you're in the area having a meal, I recommend skipping desert at the restaurant and having some Baskin-Robbins ice cream instead. You won't regret it.

Found a cricket (yes, the tiny little bug) in my cup of ice that was given to me by an employee from behind the counter. Not that big a deal to me.. it's just a lil bug and I have been eating ice cream here since I was a kid. But the response from the owner was what made me upset. Just got me a fresh cup with no offer to compensate the $3 cone for my son. The employees here are so nice, but the owner(s) are a different story. I had an issue a year ago with them being blatantly "cheap" for lack of a better term. Same today. Not going back.

Do Not Believe Store Hours. Pulled up 6pm on thursday, place looked open. There was at least a half dozen people in there both behind the counter, sitting at the tables, walking around, cars outside (the employees now park in the shade spots so there was at least 4 cars there. But doors were locked and they just looked at me trying to get in. Looked like some kind of personal hangout party to me and they locked the customer out. So will not be back. This is the second time I came here recently and got a bad feeling about the place. Definitely not who used to own the place when I came a few years ago, something has changed.
