Sunset Bbq

First of all EVERYTHING HERE WAS EXCELLENT! It was my first time in Chattanooga and who comes to Tenn and doesn't immediately get BBQ? I heard THIS was the best and it was ALL good from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by friendly staff and Erykah Badu on the speakers. I ordered a little of everything, Brisket, Ribs, Wings, Greens, Cobbler ALL🔥🔥🔥the vibe in there is amazing and the sauce is perfectly peppered and slightly tangy with these hints of sweet heat! Absolutely delicious!

BEST BBQ I've ever had. I'm a pitmaster and BBQ is my favorite food. Their sauce is the only reason I enjoy their ribs more than my own. Their sauce is Amazing if you like a little spice. I've been eating here for over 40 years. Even used to go to the bonny oaks location. The kids have done an excellent job.taking over. Usually when the kids.take.over there is a drop in quality. Not the case. The quality has become more consistent. I love that they sell the sauce. Just wish they sold it by the gallon. There is always a line but its well worth the wait. I do.a.lot of traveling and always try ribs and have yet to find their equal or superior ribs. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Two of the best BBQ joints in Chattanooga, TN are on Dodsun Avenue about 1/2 mile from each other. The sauce prepared by Sunset BBQ is on the spicy side and really makes their ribs. The rib plate is probably the best BBQ deal in the area - easily enough ribs for two people. No sign out front or on the building (that omission of signage has been fixed since I initially wrote this review) - if I hadn't been told about it by chance, by a long-time customer, I never would have been able to enjoy it - though a search by Google does provide info. Update: they finally put their name on the front of the building to make finding them far easier - visit and enjoy some outstanding BBQ.
