Papa Johns Pizza

My husband and I popped into this location on 5/10. While the service was quick (15 minute wait), the product didn’t seem to taste as good as the pizzas and wings from the Dalton, Ga store. There was very little pizza sauce, a terrible aftertaste that I can’t explain, and the clerk was unaccommadating. After scanning my card for almost $60, I asked for blue cheese instead of ranch and extra garlic sauce. For 2 large pizzas and 2 8-piece wing orders. I was given 1 of each. And with an attitude. Next time I’ll keep riding on past and give my money to another establishment. Eat at this one at your own risk.

The worst experience I have ever had with pizza delivery. Traveling through and ordered pizza at our hotel after being on the road all day. The pizza was literally 45 minutes later than when we were told. It was stone cold, I did not get a receipt and the delivery girl shoved the boxes at me and left. I fully intended on giving a tip on the receipt but there wasn’t one. Very disappointing. And PS it was a Wednesday night at 10 at night. So I know they weren’t busy.

Wanted delivery for a small pool party, but the site wouldn't ring up the order, so I had to go pick it up. Found out when I got there that the guy cancelled delivery orders due to having only one driver, which is understandable with all of the bad reviews for slow delivery time. It was done before I got there and still hot when I got home (10 minute drive each way). The pizza was light on sauce, but I actually liked it this way since a 2-year old was also partaking (less mess). I see a lot of bad reviews for this location, but I'll still give it another try. Maybe I lucked out and got a good crew on a Monday evening? If you can, just order carry out instead of delivery. I imagine the experience will be much better due to driver shortages literally everywhere...

We ordered at 7:08 PM on a Sunday and was told it would be 35-40 min. I called them back at 8:15 and was told they only had Door Dash delivery drivers tonight and it would be another 40 min. I told them it would have been nice to have been told that when I was ordering. They told me sorry they would credit our account back and it would be here within 15 min. 50 minutes later, And we are still waiting.. guess since they aren’t getting the money.. getting it here is no longer a priority..

The manager who answered the phone this evening was unbelievably vile and hung up on me while I was speaking to him. When I called back ,he accused me of "bypassing the call center to call him directly ". Google gave the number so that is an issue he should take up with Google , NOT a paying customer. The young man who delivered the pizza was very nice. I feel bad that he works for such a vile and miserable man. Way to go Papa John's for hiring such stellar managers!! This man obviously needs to rethink his life's choices and should think about becoming an evening cemetery grounds keeper, at least then he will be with a more suitable clientele.

Took 1hr and 45 minutes to get our food. We called and Manager said they left a minute ago. 20 minutes later we called back and was told they left 5 minutes ago. Bunch of liars, didn't offer anything for the terrible service...no discount no coupons just lies and excuses. Our simple cheese pizza looked horrible and tasted even worse. Don't order from this location!
