Ok, so me and my husband are major travelers who LOVE to post our reviews after our visits. This place was fun! We got a singing sous chef! He was great and very entertaining! The food was excellent! Tender chicken and steak! I ordered a long Island tea the service on getting it to me a little slow. It was busy there on Christmas day. I would post 5 stars but, older restaurant!!! Great staff!! If you dont ask for the type of dressing on our salad you will get the house dressing. We enjoyed the people at our table very funny and generous. Overall, the visit was ok. Issues were lack of staff, restuarant appearance could use some extra cleaning mainly floors. However, what staff was there was going non-stop. Chef was friendly, food was good, and drinks from bar were superb. Would I return yes but hopefully place has been able to catch up on cleaning

BEWARE! My husband and I went here for lunch. We ordered quite a bit of sushi and nigiri. Here is where the issue started. I ordered two sweet shrimp nigiri (4 pieces in total) these are usually served cooked. Eating completely raw shrimp or shelf fish in general, creates a very high risk of food poisoning and different kinds of bacteria. We’ve eaten here several times so I knew what it usually looks like. We brought it up to the server, which she said it’s supposed to be like that and then she walked off. If she would have offered to at least correct the issue it would have been fine, however we ended up getting charged the full amount for the 4 pieces, which I only ate one then I realized it, and stopped eating. - $20 for 4 pieces We will not return.

We go here because the food is superior to other hibachi establishments in town, but otherwise, this place has gone downhill. We arrived at 5:15 pm on a Monday for dinner and were told the wait was 30-40 minutes because there were only 2 chefs. We gave our phone number and waited outside. We were eventually called and seated at the far end of a table with 2 other parties who we hadn't even seen waiting. Our server greeted us, took our orders, and kept us advised as to the status of the chef's arrival at our table. Meanwhile, a table seated after us had their chef arrive and start cooking. Our chef did not put on the typical show and seemed rushed, but the food was delicious. Our server disappeared for 15 minutes as we waited for checks and finally returned saying that it was difficult to split checks sometimes. While waiting, numerous employees came out of the kitchen on their phones, with their own personal food, and appeared to be eating in a back dining area of the restaurant. No management present. The restaurant was unkempt and the bathrooms were dirty. We were here over 2 hours on a Monday. We won't be back for awhile.

I used to go here all the time with my family of 5. The new menu in the last few weeks is posted as "increased prices due to ingredient costs" but the real reason is they were bought out by a new company sometime around the beginning of January 2022. Now, the prices are just way to high for me to go. $15 for kids steak for my 5 year old is high. $25 for chicken & steak for 1 adult. The lunch prices are too high too. We went on a Saturday for lunch and hardly anyone was there... We all ordered down from what we used to get, so not really what we wanted and still ended up spending more. I guess I'm just not their target audience anymore. 🤷 I gave 3 stars though because the food is still great! I just will only go now for special occasions at lunch time.

Sorry for the rant....We came into town and met up with my sister and cousins. In total 11 of us dined. 5 adults, 6 kids. I know it's not all about entertainment but every hibatchi restaurant I've went to the cook was enjoyable and made the table laugh and have fun. Especially the kids. Our chef tossed his spatula at the beginning and balanced 1 egg. The other cooks around us were very different. 2nd issue.... Even though we paid 3 seperate checks, they still added the gratuity. Not a huge deal but I like to choose what your tip is worth. I feel the cook was like well I'm automatically getting a tip so I don't need to be extra. 3rd issue... We were there during lunch time. I ordered the shrimp with rice. The rice was great and received 1/2 a plate worth then received 5 SMALL pieces of shrimp. This was a $15 meal. I will never go to this location again. The photo was taken after he plated the shrimp. I had already eaten some rice bc I was hungry and don't like cold rice. My daughter which is 8 (they wouldn't allow us to share meals) ordered steak and rice. That cost $11. Same issues, 1/2 a plate of rice and 8 small small pieces of steak. Spent $37.00 for us 2 and still ended up having to get more food at the mall afterwards because we were still hungry. We weren't told about the small portion sizes up front and if that is a regular thing then the lunch prices shouldn't be so high.
