I love the Alex it's a fun place to go to always go there on some Sundays on kareoke night for a song my uncle John does the kareoke and I love the place the staff are so friendly and very easy to get to know and hang out with

Had a few drinks, and shots!! 😁 Felt quite drunk but they were all nice in there!! Sits right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Chatham station area!! Idea place right outside where there is a statue of a man who normally has a cone in his head!! 😂 Find that your fund a nice pub that has many ways of entertainment!! Live bands with the barman who's a 🎸🎸🎸 ist!! (Guitarist) they have a darts room with a beer garden!! Many karaokes coming up this month!!

First night in, thought it was closing time, second night in was better, although this is NOT a bar for entertainment! This is the sort of place you go to if you just want to sit, chat and have a good drink. Barmaid was really friendly, even going out of her way for the awkward customer (me) to make a drink she'd never even heard of. Had a bit of banter with the staff and a couple of the regulars, so yes, a good little pub to start your evening off or an ideal little place to sit and drown your sorrows.

I went for a drink with some friends on a Sunday afternoon. The was good live music and the pub had a friendly working class atmophere. The beer was very reasonably priced.

What a great place. Clean tasting beer. Very friendly staff. And the atmosphere was electric. Kids are welcome so a bonus there. Live music advertised for every Sunday. Can not fault the place at all. Wish it was mine.
