Staff are always polite and willing to answer any questions. The food is also hot and tasty every time. I’m happy to have such a great chippy as my local!!

We had take away of 2 large cod and chips. Food was amazing. Fish was cooked so well and batter was perfect. Thank you Anchor Safety, will visit again

We are new to the area. We have eaten from here 3 times in the last 6 months, and we have been really happy all 3 times with the food. The most recent being yesterday evening. Definitely recommend!

This is a busy fish and chip shop and the only decent one in the area and you sometimes have to wait but the food is always top class! It’s a young team but they really do a good job, especially the Friday night team!

Hadn't had fish and chips in a while, stopped here to try ,really enjoyed ,cod and chips were tasty not to greasy ,good sized portions , definitely recommend and will be coming back .

Always had nice fish and chips from here whether it is home delivery or we visit to grab something on the way home from work. Staff are always pleasant and you don't have to wait very long. Even the home delivery is on time.

I ordered through just eat and the time to wait wasn't bad .. the food was absolutely devine and hot and the drinks where lovely and cold and for a medium chips here was plenty there ! The pickle was nice and fresh the fish cake lovely the savaloy was lush no nasty bits in it and the chips where absolutely beautiful ans the driver was nice too. Definitely will chose this chippy again over somewhere closer.

This establishment has built a good reputation, through offering a good range of choice and good service, I have tried the food on 5 or more occasions and been generally quite satisfied, the prices are high, but food qaulity has been consistently good and always cooked fresh.
My only critique would be the chips portion size. also packaging!! You dont need or want every item in it's own box, when paper wrappings would suffice. (Maybe I'm just old fashioned). I would recommend this fish'n'chip shop for consistent quality and customer service.
