Worked in Morris County Parks in mid 90's, best food around (egg salad was amazing). Still love being down there on occasion. They never disappoint!
A true New Jersey deli where the air is filled the smells oil and vinegar when you walk in, the shelves are stocked with Italian specialty goods and the staff is welcoming ready to serve you. The sandwich selection has amazing range from a chicken cutlet with mozz to a decadent fig spread with prosciutto and arugula panini. Amazing side salads, fresh food and something for anyone. Wonderful customer service where they make you want to come back again and again. Generous portions, super fresh and always delicious. You have got to try their turkey sloppy joe if you have not experienced one, a definite must try! Thank you Hickory Deli for making an ordinary lunch time, extraordinary and delicious!
This deli is worth the drive. First of all, there are 3 gluten free bread options which most delis don’t have. Then, try the cranberry mayo! They have 3 mayo blends but I’ve only tried the cranberry mayo and I even buy extra to take home for during the week. Rice pudding is great too!
I cannot say enough great things about Hickory Tree deli. The service is fast, everyone is so polite and the sandwiches are absolutely incredible. The price for the quality cannot be beat. As locals, it’s our go to at least once a week.
There is nothing on this menu, nothing I’ve ordered, that isn’t absolutely delicious. They provide the best customer service and never ever disappoint. I’d give more stars if I could.

Super declious food!! Went here for the first time and they serve a generous amount of deli meat on your sandwhiches. The paninis are delicious and flavorful, portion sizes are great. And they have a bunch of drinks and snacks to choose from. staff is friendly! Will definitely be going back

Absolutely best deli! If I am within a 30-minute drive, I will bring an ice pack and cooler to bring their delicious Roast Beef/Turkey Joes home. Only wished we lived in Chatham to enjoy more often.
This deli is definitely one of my favorites! The service is fast, the staff is polite, they always have fresh food. They have a full menu, many many different options. In a very good location with lots of parking which is important for a deli especially during breakfast and lunch hours. Prices are a little on the higher end compared to other delis but you get what you pay for. I love this place.
Can’t say enough good stuff about this place, whenever I’m in the area, it’s my number one go to spot, they have the best sloppy Joe’s in all of Mars county, all the food is amazing. The owner John and the staff are so friendly and welcoming, highly recommend
